摘要:
Systems, methods, and apparatus for smart electric power grid communication are disclosed in the present invention. At least one grid element is constructed and configured in network-based communication with a server via at least one coordinator. The at least one grid element is transformed into at least one active grid element automatically and/or autonomously after initial connection with the server. The at least one active grid element sends and receives messages to and from the server via at least one coordinator. The at least one coordinator matches and prioritizes the at least one active grid element. The at least one coordinator provides a priority flag on the messages. The at least one coordinator tracks an actual amount of power introduced to and available for an electric power grid or a curtailment power available from the at least one active grid element.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for smart electric power grid communication are disclosed in the present invention. At least one grid element transmits at least one registration message over an Internet Protocol (IP)-based network to at least one coordinator. The at least one coordinator registers the at least one grid element upon receipt of the at least one registration message. The at least one grid element automatically and/or autonomously transforms into at least one active grid element for actively functioning in the electric power grid. The at least one coordinator tracks based on revenue grade metrology an amount of power available for the electric power grid or a curtailment power available from the at least one active grid element.

[Problems to be Solved]In the valve opening and closing timing controlled by an ECU, since the responsivity of a phase varying apparatus becomes low and the valve opening and closing timing cannot be appropriately controlled in the state of low engine rpm, desired engine characteristics cannot be obtained. Therefore, it is a problem to be solved by the present invention to provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a phase varying apparatus capable of obtaining the considerably high responsiveness of the phase varying apparatus under condition of low engine rpm.[Solution]The above problem can be solved by a phase control method for controlling a phase varying apparatus constituted so as to calculate an estimated relative angle value one step later by the Kalman filter using a relative angle calculated from rotational velocity values of the associated shafts in the current step and a command value to an electromagnetic clutch in the current step, input the estimated relative angle value to a sliding mode controller as a feedback signal, calculate a command value to the electromagnetic clutch one step later based on the value of the feedback signal and output the command signal.

Systems, methods, and apparatus embodiments for electric power grid and network registration and management of grid elements. Grid elements are transformed into grid elements following initial registration of each grid element with the system, preferably through network-based communication between the grid elements and a coordinator, either in coordination with or outside of an IP-based communications network router. A multiplicity of grid elements function in the grid for supply capacity, supply and/or load curtailment as supply or capacity. Also preferably, messaging is managed through a network by a Coordinator using IP messaging for communication with the grid elements, with the energy management system (EMS), and with the utilities, market participants, and/or grid operators.

A driving amount controller for reducing a response delay or erroneous deviation in control of a driving amount of a controlled system. The driving amount controller includes an ECU that increases an add-in amount to a duty ratio DUT of a control signal according to an increase in the speed variation ΔDTHR of a target opening DTRH of the throttle valve 16 when the speed variation ΔDTHR is positive. In addition, the ECU increases the add-in amount to the duty ratio DUT of the control signal according to a decrease in the speed variation ΔDTHR when the speed variation ΔDTHR is negative. A throttle valve on a vehicle is an example of the controlled system.

A control system, such as a vehicle management system, having a processing unit (20) and a sensor for providing data samples (22), includes a multi-step ahead predictive filter that predicts data samples based on a weighted function of prior data samples (26). This allows the system to continue to function using predicted data samples, when for example the receipt of actual data samples (22) is temporarily interrupted, e.g. due to noise, a communications fault or the like. The filter uses a single set of weights (28) for weighting the prior data samples (26), irrespective of the number of missing data samples for which the prediction is required, and the set of weights (28) is determined based on the characteristics of the sensor signal. Various methods for determining the set of weights are also disclosed.
