摘要:
A manufacturing method of an eco friendly foam package material includes a raw material mixing step for mixing raw materials uniformly and thoroughly to form a mixed raw material, a raw material hybrid-melting step for performing a hybrid-melting process to form a hybrid-melted material, a particle forming step for performing the particle forming process by putting the hybrid-melted material into a pelletizer to form plastic particles, and a foam extrusion step. In the foam extrusion step the plastic particles are melted to become a gelatinous state material, and foamed with non-chemical method. Since the properties of the biodegradable polymer are changed by the decomposition enzyme, and further to mix with bio-cellulose and the industrial starch, such that the eco friendly foam package material with compostability is obtained.

Making foamed bodies by introducing a biodegradable polymer mixture into a mould (10) in which it is heated to form a foam and to fill the mould. The mould is defined between two opposed parts (12, 14) that mate together, and each mould part is of electrically conducting material, and the moulding surfaces are coated with an electrically insulating material (16). Radio-frequency signals are applied (25) between the mould parts (12, 14) so that the polymer mixture is heated by dielectric heating, so a foam tray is formed in less than 15 s. This provides a more rapid cycle time than using heated moulds. The radio frequency signals may be 27.12 MHz, or 40.68 MHz. The polymer may be starch-based.

Earplugs are formed by extruding an elastomeric material (12) forwardly (F) through an extrusion head (14) so a forward portion of the extrusion enters a shaping cavity (50A). The forward portion of the extrusion is severed from the rest of the mass being extruded to form a globule. The globule is allowed or forced to expand in the cavity, or the cavity is formed of parts that compress the globule, to shape the globule to the shape of the cavity.

In producing a product foamed molding by molding into a specified shape a foamed product obtained by foaming a kneaded product obtained by kneading a fibrous material with an aqueous solution, followed by drying, an aqueous solution in which a binder mainly composed of gelatin and/or glue having a jelly strength of 130 Bloom or more is dissolved is used as the aqueous solution, whereby the generation of depressions in a pockmark form on a surface of the product foamed molding can be prevented to increase the yield of the product, and the specific gravity of the product can be reduced, thus being able to produce the foamed molding such as a cushioning material excellent in elastic performance economically, continuously and in large amounts.

Compositions, methods, and systems for manufacturing articles, particularlycontainers and packaging materials, having a particle packed, highly inorganically filled, cellular matrix are disclosed. Suitable inorganically filled mixtures are prepared by mixing together a starch-based binder, a solvent, inorganic aggregates, and optimal admixtures, e.g., fibers, mold-releasing agents, rheology-modifying agents, plasticizers, coating materials, and dispersants, in the correct proportions to form an article which has the desired performance criteria. The inorganically filled mixtures have a predetermined viscosity and are heated between molds at an elevated temperature and pressure to produce form-stable articles having a desired shape and a selectively controlled cellular, structural matrix. The molded articles may be placed in a high humidity chamber to obtain the necessary flexibility for their intended use. The articles may be manufactured to have properties substantially similar to articles presently made from conventional materials like paper, paperboard, polystyrene, plastic, or other organic materials. They have especial utility in the mass-production of containers, particularly food and beverage containers.
摘要:
Foam forming techniques are capable of permitting foaming of biodegradable resin to be positively and uniformly accomplished to provide a biodegradable resin foam with satisfactory quality. The biodegradable resin including foam is made of biodegradable resin a main biodegradable resin ingredient of 100.degree. C. or more in melting point and a low-melting biodegradable resin ingredient of 100.degree. C. or less in melting point. The biodegradable resin foam is produced by placing a starting material of at least biodegradable resin and a substantial amount of moisture in a heated and pressurized environment, releasing the starting material from the environment to foam the biodegradable resin, and subjecting the foamed resin to forming by a forming mold. An apparatus for producing the foamed biodegradable resin foam includes a pressure adjusting chamber, an air-permeable forming mold, a pressure reducing tank and an injection machine.

Compositions, methods, and systems for manufacturing articles, particularly containers and packaging materials, having a highly inorganically filled matrix. Suitable inorganically filled mixtures are prepared by mixing together an organic polymer binder, water, one or more aggregate materials, fibers, and optional admixtures in the correct proportions in order to form an article which has the desired performance criteria. The inorganically filled mixtures are molded to fashion a portion of the mixture into a form stable shape for the desired article. Once the article has obtained form stability, the article is removed from the mold and allowed to harden to gain strength. The articles may have properties substantially similar to articles presently made from traditional materials like paper, paperboard, polystyrene, plastic, or metal. They have especial utility in the mass production of containers, particularly food and beverage containers.

Compositions, methods, and systems for manufacturing articles, particularly containers and packaging materials, having a fiber-reinforced, starch-bound cellular matrix. Suitable mixtures used to form the articles are prepared by first preparing a viscous preblended mixture comprising water, a gelatinized starch-based binder, and fibers having an average length greater than about 2 mm. The highly viscous preblended mixture effectively transfers the shearing forces of the mixer to the fibers. The final moldable mixture is then prepared by mixing into the preblended mixture the remaining starch-based binder, water, and other desired admixtures, e.g., mold-releasing agents, inorganic filler rheology-modifying agents, plasticizers, coating materials, and dispersants, in the correct proportions to form an article which has the desired performance criteria. The moldable mixtures are heated between molds at an elevated temperature and pressure to produce form-stable articles having a desired shape and a selectively controlled foamed structural matrix. The articles may be manufactured to have properties substantially similar to articles presently made from conventional materials like paper, paperboard, polystyrene, plastic, or other organic-based materials and have especial utility in the mass-production of containers, particularly food and beverage containers.
