    摘要: A method and apparatus for data exchange between a master microprocessor and a slave microprocessor, in which the connection is a parallel bus and the data exchange requires a minimum of time. For this purpose, the data are transmitted in a predetermined sequence and in which the transmission-start identifier is a signal train generated by the master processor which is specifically associated with data transmission. Preferably, a master processor and a slave processor are interconnected by the parallel data bus, with buffer memories, such as latches, interposed. A toggle flip-flop is connected to the interrupt input of the slave processor in such a way that merely placing a specific instruction (i.e. command+data) on the bus simultaneously notifies the slave processor to prepare for the exchange of data, thereby saving time.

    摘要: To place the maximum combustion pressure, which occurs upon ignition, after the piston of an internal combustion engine (ICE) has passed upper dead-center (UDC) position upon starting, a predetermined time interval (Ti) is subtracted from the expected time the piston reaches UDC position, as determined by the time taken for a predetermined angular distance of the crankshaft to rotate; the time between the predetermined angular distances is extrapolated to determine the projected, or expected time of the UDC position. The predetermined time interval (Ti), which may be made dependent upon engine temperature, is then subtracted and the actual firing time computed, for example by counting-out in a counter the differential time interval determined by the subtraction. The timing intervals are preferably derived from a segmental marker system (20,21; A1,A2), in a counter (1), the extrapolation carried out in a multiplier (2) and the subtracting in a subtraction circuit (3). The system is preferably enabled upon closing of the starter switch (S) and may be disabled when a down-counter, determining the actual timing interval, has a negative count output.

    摘要: To provide control of a vehicle engine computer from a segmental disk transducer by indicating a specific marker angular position of the crankshaft, to, characterize a specific cylinder in a multi-cylinder engine, the disk (1) has uniformly spaced segments (10, 20, 30, 40) thereon, the number of segments corresponding to the number of cylinders; one of the segments is foreshortened, so that the passage of the leading flank (11) thereof past a stationary pick-up transducer (2) will occur at a time later than that of the leading edges or flanks (21, 31, 41) of the remaining segments. The trailing flanks (12, 22, 32, 42) of all the segments are identical, and signals derived by processing the trailing flanks can be used to obtain speed signals; by processing the leading flanks, interrupt signals are applied to an interrupt input (3f) of a vehicle computer (3) to initiate a subroutine or subprogram. Additionally, a clock is started which, by counting, stores a representation of the circumferential length of the largest one of the segments. The length representation, as stored, is compared with a subsequent count in a comparator (9) and, if the counts do not match, this indicates that the then-appearing segment before the pick-up is the one which is foreshortened. The counter is reset upon sensing each trailing flank, and the memory, likewise, is reset each time a new count is entered thereinto.

    摘要: A device for reducing slip of drive wheels of a motor vehicle having a turbo charged internal combustion engine includes a charger control unit which controls or regulates the charged air in dependency on at least rotary speed of the engine and in addition on information about the shifted gear in the transmission of the vehicle. For each gear change a maximum permissible time change of rotary speed or in dependency on the rotary speed a maximum permissible charge air pressure is determined experimentally and the latter values are stored in a storing device. By comparing the stored values with the actual values an optimum acceleration of the engine can be obtained. By a simultaneous adjustment of the ignition time point or of the amount of supplied fuel the speed of response of the entire arrangement is further increased.

When the throttle valve is closed, a throttle valve switch generates a logic signal. A monitoring of the pressure sensor is effected in that upon the simultaneous occurrence of the logic signal and a pressure signal which corresponds to an abnormal or a physically impossible state when the throttle valve is closed, an alarm is triggered.

    摘要: In a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having fuel injection, in particular a turbo-engine, having air intake and exhaust gas conduits, a turbocharger and a regulating valve for furnishing combustion air to the exhaust gas conduit when the throttle valve in the air intake conduit is closed partially or entirely, in order to maintain the charge pressure of the turbocharger during overrunning or at partial load with good efficiency of the system. When the regulating valve opens, a portion of the cylinders is not ignited and the remaining portion of the cylinders is ignited at an extremely late instant of ignition, with suitable metering of the fuel injection quantity. A total fuel quantity is injected into the non-ignited cylinders that together with the combustion air supplied to the exhaust gas conduit burns to produce an additional exhaust gas volume that keeps the turbine of the turbocharger disposed in the exhaust gas conduit at a sufficiently high rpm for furnishing a sufficiently high air throughput via the compressor.
