    摘要： A lamp holder is disclosed having a visual indicator that allows a user to locate the pull chain of the lamp holder in a dark environment. In an embodiment, the lamp holder is an outlet box lamp holder which can be mounted onto an outlet box located in a dark environment. The lamp holder has a socket to support a light bulb and a pull-chain switch actuator to control power to the lamp socket. The visual indicator can be a neon lamp disposed on the lamp holder and adjacent the pull-chain actuator.

    摘要： A modular wiring system comprising a functional unit and a wiring unit. There is also a system for coupling the functional unit to the wiring unit in a rotational manner. This system can be formed from at least one locking prong comprised of electrically conductive material. When the functional unit is coupled to the wiring unit, the locking prong is both electrically and physically coupled to the functional unit at a first end and to the wiring unit at a second end. Alternatively, or in addition, the system for coupling the functional unit to the wiring unit in a rotational manner can include at least one flange coupled to the functional unit and at least one flange coupled to the wiring unit. These flanges operate such that when the functional unit and the wiring unit are coupled together, they are rotated to form a locking connection between the flange on the functional unit and the flange on the wiring unit.

    摘要： The threaded wallplate mounting lobes of a mounting strap are eliminated and replaced by a retainer made of thin, hard brass sheet metal. The retainer has a body portion fixed to the mounting strap at each of its two ends and an apertured lobe which takes the place of the lobes of the mounting strap. By contouring the shape of the apertures in the retainers, mounting fasteners may be forced through such apertures to assemble a wallplate to a mounting strap without the usual mating of fastener and threaded mounting lobes.
