摘要： A method for the production of rubber mixtures in a ram kneader or in an aggregate combination of a ram kneader and a preferably thereunder disposed ram-less kneader includes applying a fluid in a surface covering application onto the mixture which has been handled in the ram kneader at the same time as during the mixing process at which there occurs at least one of an enlargement of its working volume, during the discharge process in which the mixture is discharged from the ram kneader, and during a time at which the mixture is in the ram-less kneader, the boiling point of the fluid being less than the desired end temperature of the mixture and the fluid being evaporated during the course of further working of the mixture in a manner in which no fluid remnants remain.

摘要： A method for making a silicic acid containing rubber base composition includes providing composition ingredients of rubber, silicic acid, silane and additional additives except for vulcanization ingredients. First and second mixers separate from each other are provided wherein the ingredients except for the vulcanization ingredients can be mixed. All of the composition ingredients are introduced into the first mixer except for the vulcanization ingredients simultaneously or at time intervals. The composition ingredients introduced into the first mixer are mixed to a composition. The composition formed in the first mixer is transferred directly into the second mixer without an intermediate storage thereof. The transferred composition formed in the first mixer is mixed at least almost to completion in the second mixer with the temperature lying in the temperature range of 130° C. to 180° C. at least over the greatest part of the dwell time of the composition in the second mixer wherein the silicic acid reacts acceleratedly with the silane.

摘要： A method of producing a mixture that contains rubber or rubber-like material, and carbon black. The method includes the steps of adding to the rubber or rubber-like material a portion only of the intended total quantity of carbon black, thereupon preheating the above in a high-frequency alternating field, and subsequently adding in the remainder of the intended total quantity of carbon black. Expediently, approximately up to a maximum of one-third of the intended total quantity of carbon black is added to the rubber prior to the preheating step.

摘要： A pneumatic vehicle tire having a single layer radial carcass of steel or a material of similarly high strength. The carcass is anchored by being looped around the bead cores in the beads. The laterally outwardly lying free ends of the carcass layer may extend up to about half the height of the tire side walls. Laterally outwardly, next to the looped around carcass end, between the rim flange and this carcass end, there is provided a bead reinforcer which includes pull-resistant threads or the like which are parallel to one another. The bead reinforcer is slanted with regard to the carcass, preferably extending at an angle of about 15.degree. to 45.degree. to the circumferential direction of the tire. The radially outwardly lying free end of the bead reinforcer has associated therewith a strip which extends parallel to said free end and includes pull-resistant threads or the like which are arranged in a cord layer. These threads are likewise slanted with regard to the circumferential direction of the tire, preferably forming an angle of about 15.degree. to 45.degree. with the circumferential direction, but, with regard to the bead reinforcer, are oppositely slanted, i.e. cross the threads of the bead reinforcer, in such a way that the freely ending, laterally looped around carcass end forms with the bead reinforcer and this strip a triangular formation which practically maintains the mutual spacing of the carcass strength carriers and the strength carriers of the bead reinforcer.

摘要： A mixing unit for mixing rubber has a mixing chamber and at least one rotor positioned therein. A drive, for driving the at least one rotor, is positioned exterior to the mixing chamber. The at least one rotor has a shaft penetrating outwardly from the mixing chamber and connected to the drive. An inlet opening is positioned at the top side of the mixing chamber. A first closure closes the inlet opening. An outlet opening is positioned at the bottom of the mixing chamber and can be closed by a second closure. At least one first connector is provided for affecting pressure in the mixing chamber. An air-tight enclosure for the shaft penetrating from the mixing chamber is provided. The enclosure has at least one second connector for affecting pressure in the enclosure.

To rapidly cool the master batch in the ram-less kneader and to be able to reliably and rapidly carry out the finish mixing process, only a portion of the active surface of the rotor of the ram-less kneader is provided with a surface wear protection layer. This layer is preferably provided only in the region of the active edges of the raised portions of the rotor, while the remaining portion of the active surface is free of such a wear protection layer.

In a first stage, in a ram kneader, a master batch is produced, and in a second stage, in a batch-type process, a final mixture is produced in a ram-less kneader, without the need for intermediate storage. To improve the cooling in the ram-less kneader, the interior of this kneader is supplied with air that has such a degree of dryness that a condensation deposit is precluded. To achieve this, an essentially air tight channel is provided between the two kneaders, with a place being provided in the channel for the bottom closure of the ram kneader in a swung-out position of this closure.

摘要： Pneumatic vehicle tires having a carcass with a tread strip centrally arranged thereon. The carcass freely spans the wheel rim and is only slightly outwardly curved when in a non-depressed condition. At its rim area the carcass is deflected by means of its arc of curvature towards the tire beads which are reinforced with pull-resistant cores. The carcass has a thickness which continuously decreases from its maximum thickness in the region of the tire bead to a fraction thereof at the edges of the tread strip. The carcass is provided with two fabric plies which are looped around the cores. Decreasing in distance between each other, the two plies extend beneath the tread strips. In the arc of curvature the two plies surround an elastic, deformable, incompressible intermediate layer which has an approximately wedge-shaped cross section.
