摘要： This disclosed embodiments of this invention relate to a semi-submersible vessel. The semi-submersible vessel includes a deck, at least four columns supporting the deck, a first pontoon, a second pontoon, a first brace and a second brace. Each column comprises an outer skin, an inner skin, and a number of reinforcing plates spaced apart from each other and connecting the inner skin to the outer skin, forming a double skin arrangement. The first pontoon is connectable to a first pair of columns and the second pontoon is connectable to a second pair of columns. The first brace is connectable to the first of each of the two pairs of columns and the second brace connects the second of each of the two pairs of columns.

摘要： A cold energy recovery apparatus for a self-powered data centre is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a fluid storage tank having at least a pair of inlet and outlet, the inlet configured to receive a coolant; and a heat exchanger arranged in the tank, the heat exchanger having a pair of inlet and outlet, the inlet configured to receive liquefied natural gas. The apparatus is operable to permit the coolant to flow from the inlet to the outlet of the tank causing the coolant to be in fluid contact with the heat exchanger, in which the coolant is progressively cooled to a lower temperature by heat transfer to the liquefied natural gas via fluid contact with the heat exchanger. The liquefied natural gas is vaporized into natural gas due to the heat transfer and is directed out from the outlet of the heat exchanger.

摘要： A structural block is fabricated with necessary components and structure for LNG storage and/or process. The structural block may be an LNG tank with the same configuration as that in an LNG carrier. The structural block may also be a regasification plant or a liquefaction plant to be used for LNG process. An existing vessel, e.g. an LNG carrier, is cut apart to form a forward section and an aft section. The forward section and the aft section are moved away from each other to form a space therebetween. The structural block is then placed into the space and jointed to the forward and aft sections, by welding for example, to form an integrated new vessel. The structural block provides the new vessel with increased LNG storage and transportation capabilities as well as regasification and/or liquefaction process facilities to meet the increased demand for LNG storage, transportation and processing.
