    摘要: A portable ultrasound imaging system includes a mobile computing device; a detachable front end component configured for attachment to and communication with the mobile computing device, and configured to transmit and receive ultrasound signals; and programming, when installed on the mobile computing device, being executable by the mobile computing device to cause the mobile computing device to send signals to the front end component causing the front end component to transmit the ultrasound signals, and to receive signals from the front end component resulting from the front end component receiving the receive ultrasound signals, and process the receive signal and display an ultrasound image resulting from the processing. The front end component is configured to be directly joined with the mobile computing device and directly connected, without the use of an external wire or cable.

    摘要: The invention is a pull-out bed attachment apparatus for supporting a bed spread or similar articles. e.g. luggage at night. The attachment comprises a flat, stationary base board abutting the end of the bed, usually a mattress and box spring. The base board is in connection with at least two support boards that lie perpendicular to the base board and support the base board from between the mattresses. Movable dowel rods slide through apertures in the base board and are connected to a third board-the extension board. The dowel rods slide under the mattress and the extension board is pushed flush against the base board when not in use-typically during the day. When in use, the extension board and dowel rods provide an extended platform for supporting the bed spread.

    摘要: Transmit based axial whitening is provided. Ultrasonic waveforms to be transmitted are designed to provide for wideband imaging characteristics prior to detection. Rather than transmitting a waveform having a spectral magnitude as white or flat as possible, waveforms with adjusted spectral content, such as spectrally bi-modal waveforms are generated in order to compensate for subsequent effects. Prior to detection, a more wideband or whiter signal response is provided in response to the transmitted waveform. Any of various alterations of the transmit waveform, such as asymmetric, spectrally bi-modal or other characteristics in anticipation of a system transfer function or physical phenomena through which the signal passes electronically or acoustically to result in a wideband or white spectral magnitude and generally linear spectral phase is used. The transmit waveform is altered to improve the imaging characteristics of the downstream processing.
