    摘要: A lightweight crankshaft (1), with eccentric structures, such as con-rods, main bearings, etc., comprises cavities (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12) and/or recesses (8) for weight reduction, both in the region of the axis of rotation and isolated therefrom in the region of the eccentric structures. According to the invention at least one cavity is provided (2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 12) in which a stabilizing filler material (5) is located. Said stabilizing filler material can, for example, be a metal foam.

    摘要: A process for producing a ceramic-metal composite, includes (1) mixing TiO2, and optionally Ti, with at least one of a boron-containing or carbon-containing material to give a green body mix; (2) heat treating the green body mix to a temperature from 900° C. to 1900° C. and below a temperature which leads to an autocatalytic reaction; (3) carrying out an exchange reaction between the material and the TiO2 to give a reaction product comprising at least one of TiBx and TiCy, wherein 0≦x 23 2 and 0≦y≦1; (4) producing a porous green body from the reaction product; (5) filling the porous green body with liquid aluminum after the exchange reaction; and (6) carrying out a reaction between the reaction product in the green body and the aluminum to form the ceramic-metal composite comprising a ceramic phase selected from the group consisting of TiBx-, TiCy-, TiCN- and Al2O3 and a comprising a metallic phase comprising an intermetallic compound of Ti and Al.

    摘要: A cooling duct piston (1) for combustion engines. The cooling duct piston has a piston basic body (2) that is connected to a lining part (3), which is facing an assigned combustion chamber. Here, the lining part (3) completely forms the piston surface (4) of the cooling duct piston (1) that faces the combustion chamber. An encircling depression (5) is provided in the surface of the piston basic body (2) facing the combustion chamber. The lining part (3) provides a permanent connection at least with the surface of the piston basic body (2) facing the combustion chamber, and thus bridges the encircling depression (5), such that the encircling depression (5), with the lining part (3) that bridges it, forms a cooling duct (6).

    摘要: A process for manufacturing a ceramic metal composite body in the case of which a dimensionally stable and porous sacrificial body is produced from ceramic initial products and is filled at a filling temperature with a softened metal, particularly under an increased pressure. The filled sacrificial body is heated to a reaction temperature and the metal to be filled in, BMe, is reacted with a metal of the ceramics. KMe, forming the ceramic metal composite body which has a ceramic phase having KMe.sub.m B.sub.x and/or KMe.sub.n C.sub.y and/or KMe.sub.o CN and BMe.sub.p O.sub.3 and has a metallic phase having an intermetallic compound which is formed of KMe and BMe, the filling temperature being lower than the reaction temperature and higher than or equal to the softening temperature of the metal.

    摘要: A semifinished product blank, suitable for the production of a steel piston (1) for internal combustion engines having cylinder crankcases made of light metal alloys. Such a steel piston (1) has at least one upper piston part (4) which has a combustion recess (2) and an annular wall (3), and a lower piston part (4′) which has a piston skirt (5) and a connecting rod bearing (6). The semifinished product blank is made of an austenitic steel, that is stabilized with Ni, Mn and N and that has a thermal expansion coefficient in a range of 16 to 21×10−6 K−1. Also disclosed is a steel piston, which at least has a piston skirt (5) made of an austenitic steel that is stabilzed with Ni, Mn, N. The piston skirt (5) has a thermal expansion coefficient in a range of 16 to 21×10−6 K−1.
