    摘要: The present invention provides an optical receptacle having a superior insertion/extraction performance of the ferrule, and an optical sub-assembly applying the optical receptacle. The optical receptacle 1 includes a stub, a bush 4, a sleeve, and a sleeve cover. The stub having a lower portion covered by the bush, and an upper portion covered by the sleeve. The sleeve may be a rigid sleeve without any slit along the optical axis in its outer surface. The sleeve cover covers the sleeve and the bush. In the present optical receptacle, the bush is press-fitted into the gap formed between the stub and the sleeve cover. Accordingly, in addition to the application of the rigid sleeve, not only the sub is hard to slide out from the sleeve, but also the insertion/extraction performance of the ferrule to be inserted into the sleeve may be enhanced.

    摘要: A coating quality measuring device and a pattern plate including one reference pattern portion having a large pattern width and a plurality of strip pattern portions each having a smaller pattern width. The pattern plate is disposed opposite the coated surface. The pattern plate is reflected off the coated surface and a reflected image is formed on an image sensor. The image sensor successively outputs signals each corresponding to the light level of each strip pattern portion on a line extending in a width direction of each strip pattern portion of the reflected image. A computing device calculates an average signal level of the signals outputted by the image sensor, divides the difference between the average signal level and the signal level of each signal by the signal level of the reference pattern portion and calculates a square average value of the obtained division value to obtain a measure of the coating quality of the coated surface.

The comb comprises a plurality of guiding plates and an air escaping passage formed between every two adjacent guide plates in such a condition that the quantity of the escaping air which flows through each escaping passage is maximum at a predetermined portion of each escaping passage.     摘要: A jet loom comprising a weft measuring roller for continuously drawing out a weft from a supply package, a weft storage unit for temporarily accumulating and storing the weft drawn out from the supply package by the weft measuring roller, a main nozzle for jetting air to insert the weft into the warp shed, and a driving unit for sinusoidally varying the rotating speed of the weft measuring roller. The weft stored in the weft storage unit runs in a free running period in a free running mode at a comparatively high running speed. After the stored weft has exhausted, the weft is supplied for insertion directly from the weft measuring roller, so that the weft runs in a constrained running mode at a running speed constrained by the surface speed of the weft measuring roller. When the running mode of the inserted weft changes from the free running mode to the constrained running mode, the driving unit drives the weft measuring roller so that the surface speed of the weft measuring roller is higher than a speed Vf defined by: Vf=Lo/tc, where Lo is the weft length of the loom and tc is a time necessary for one weaving cycle of the loom.
