摘要： A closure device for transcatheter operations comprises an easily foldable closure member with a shape-restoring force, an easily inflective fixing member of an elastic material, and an easily inflective elastic member having either ends respectively fixed to the fixing member or closure member and holding the closure member and the fixing member in close proximity to one another. The closure device is used in combination with a catheter assembly comprising an elongated sheath opened at both ends and adapted to accommodate the folded closure device therein, and an operating member having at a distal end thereof a holding element for releasably holding the closure device and for guiding and protruding the folded closure device inserted in the sheath from a distal end of the sheath.

摘要： Disclosed is a device for intracardiac suture. The device includes a rod 3 provided with a grip member 31 at a proximal end thereof and having a flexible end portion; a piercing catheter 2 having a lumen 21 for movably holding the rod 3 and a flexible distal end portion with a piercing needle 25 at a distal end thereof, and provided with a hemostatic means 24 at a proximal end thereof; a sheath 1 having a lumen 11 for movably holding the piercing catheter 2 and provided with a hemostatic means 14 at a proximal end thereof; and an engaging member 4 which can be accommodated in the lumen 21 of the piercing catheter 2 and to which a suture can be fitted; wherein the engaging member 4 when accommodated in the piercing catheter 2 can be pushed out of the piercing catheter 2 by pushing said rod 3. The device is applicable to intracardiac suture for various configurations of ASD.

摘要： A heat-sensitive recording paper comprising a support having provided thereon a heat-sensitive recording layer, wherein an intermediate layer comprising at least one of an organic and inorganic pigment having an oil absorption property (JIS K-5101) of at least 30 ml/100 g and less than 50 ml/100 g is interposed between the support and the heat-sensitive recording paper. The heat-sensitive recording paper does not suffer from reduction in color density even when recording is effected with high energy.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for preparing an ink-jet recording sheet including a support and a colorant receiving layer disposed on the surface of the support, and an ink-jet recording sheet prepared by the method. The method including: coating a coating solution including inorganic fine particles, a water-soluble resin and a boron compound on the surface of the support to form a coated layer; and cross-linking and hardening the coated layer to form a colorant receiving layer. The cross-linking and hardening is performed by applying a solution containing a metal compound and having a pH of 8 or higher to the coated layer or a coated film at one of: (1) simultaneous as coating the coating solution; (2) during drying of the coated layer and before the coated layer shows a falling rate of drying; or (3) after the coated layer is dried to form the coated film.

摘要： A measured electron beam having a polarization vector as represented by arrow is irradiated to a ferromagnetic target made of an iron single crystal through a polarization vector rotator comprising a magnetic field generation coil and an electrostatic lens. A magnetic field generator is coupled with the target and aligns the direction of magnetization of the target in a direction represented by arrow. An oscillator for providing a rotation signal of the polarization vector of the measured electron beam is connected to the polarization vector rotator. The current absorbed by the target is detected and amplified by a current amplifier. A lock-in amplifier detects the phase and the magnitude of an A.C. component using the signal from the oscillator as a reference signal. The magnitude of the D.C. component of the absorbed current is detected by a D.C. current detector.

摘要： A spin-polarization detector having in a region applied with a high voltage a target for scattering a measured electron beam and an electron detector for detecting scattered electrons from the target is disclosed, in which a fluorescent screen is used as the electron detector, and a light pulse from the fluorescent screen is transmitted through an optical guide to a photodetector disposed in a region having the ground potential, to be converted into an electric signal. The spin-polarization detector is simple in structure, small in size, and low in manufacturing cost. Further, when a plurality of scattered-electron detecting systems each including the target and the fluorescent screen are piled in a spin-polarization detector, the detection efficiency of the spin-polarization detector will be greatly enhanced.
