Abstract:
A channel equalizer obtains channel impulse responses (CIRs) for all subcarriers by way of filtering channel impulse responses of specific subcarriers using at least two filters. One of the two filters may be a low pass filter. At least one other of the at least two filters is implemented as a band pass filter having a variable filtering bandwidth, being available to establish various filtering bandwidths in response to various multi-path channel environments. By improving the performance of channel estimation, equalization may be improved.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a sealing member for a master cylinder and a master cylinder having the same. The master cylinder is configured such that a communication hole of a piston is rapidly brought into communication with an oil path toward an oil tank upon release of braking. This may minimize meaningless retracting movement of the piston and delay in a braking release operation. The sealing member for the master cylinder includes an outer wing part to come into contact with the cylinder body, and an inner wing part to come into contact with the outer surface of the piston. The inner wing part includes a seal formed at a tip end thereof and at least one oil passage formed in a surface thereof opposite the outer surface of the piston

Abstract:
Digital video broadcasting terrestrial (DVB-T) receivers include a fast Fourier transformer that is configured to generate a frequency domain signal from a demodulated DVB-T signal using a range of a window, and an equalizer that is configured to equalize the frequency domain signal according to a channel selection to generate an equalized frequency domain signal. A controller is responsive to a bit error rate of the equalized frequency domain signal to control the channel selection for the equalizer, and to control the range of the window used by the fast Fourier transformer.
Abstract:
A method for performing channel estimation in a receiver of a digital terrestrial television system can be provided by interpolating a complex signal in a frequency domain using a complex filter. The interpolation can be provided, for example, by interpolating, in the time domain, a fast fourier transformed orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal and interpolating, in a frequency domain, a complex OFDM signal using the complex filter with a predetermined bandwidth. Related equalizers and computer program products are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hydraulic brake booster. A relative movement structure of a control plunger and an output shaft is modified in such a manner that the output shaft operates in the control plunger, thereby reducing the overall length of the booster and the manufacturing cost. An inner circumferential surface of a guide of the control plunger does not make contact with an outer circumferential surface of the output shaft, so that the vibration and the impact caused by the contact between the control plunger and the output shaft are not delivered, thereby improving brake pedal feeling. The control plunger includes a guide having a groove, and an inner diameter of the guide is greater than an outer diameter of the output shaft. The control plunger and the output shaft perform relative movement in the overlap state therebetween, thereby reducing the overall length of the booster and the manufacturing cost.
Abstract:
An OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) receiver is equalized by dividing each of a plurality of received OFDM symbols into a plurality of sub-symbols and outputting each of Fourier-converted signals corresponding to each of the sub-symbols, and estimating a channel response corresponding to each of the divided sub-symbols.
Abstract:
A receiver includes a frequency converter configured to generate a I signal and a Q signal from each band of a multiband signal and a mismatch compensator configured to estimate a mismatch of the I signal and the Q signal for each of the bands of the multiband signal and store at least one compensation value to compensate for the estimated mismatch. The frequency converter compensates for the mismatch of the I signal and the Q signal based on the at least one compensation value.
