    摘要： An apparatus and method for producing multiple panels of a reinforced laminated membrane are provided. The apparatus and method utilize an accommodator between a yarn-laying station and a plotting and cutting station to allow these stations to operate simultaneously and without interruption on more than one part of a sheet of material. Reinforcing yarns are deposited on the sheet of material at the yarn-laying station in one or more patterns. Panels are cut at the cutting station after lamination. The accommodator accommodates material between these stations.

    摘要： A process for effectively reducing reactivity of a surface of a semiconductor substrate is described. The process includes: (1) oxidizing in an oxidizing environment the semiconductor substrate surface, the semiconductor substrate having a dopant concentration profile that extends across a depth of the semiconductor substrate; and (2) annealing the semiconductor substrate surface in an inert gas environment, wherein the oxidizing and the annealing of the semiconductor substrate surface are performed at a temperature that is sufficiently low to substantially preserve the dopant concentration profile in the semiconductor substrate. A surface passivation apparatus is also described. The apparatus includes: a heating source for heating a substrate surface; an ozone generator; and a chamber for exposing a substrate surface to an oxidizing environment that includes a gas composition, wherein the ozone generator is configured to produce ozone within the chamber using the gas composition.

    摘要： A tower unit housing for a computer system including a rectangular box-like chassis which receives a front bezel, a L-shaped hood to cover the top and one side of the chassis and a side member to cover the other side of the chassis. The chassis includes a security tab which is aligned with a hood security tab and a side cover security tab when the hood and side cover are installed on the chassis such that openings in the tabs can receive a single lock to lock the entire unit together. The front bezel includes its own security tab which extends into a pin connection inside of the chassis such that the pin connection between the bezel and the chassis is hidden by the side cover when the side cover and L-shaped hood are installed on the chassis. In this manner, a single lock can secure the front bezel and, the L-shaped hood and the side cover from unauthorized disassembly.

    摘要： The specification discloses a clam gun for manually excavating clams from subsurface locations along sandy beaches. The clam gun includes a cylindrical sand housing whose upper end wall is secured to the lower end of a vertically extending tubular handle shaft. The upper end of the handle shaft is secured to a horizontally extending tubular handle. A pipe is mounted inside the housing adjacent its side wall and extends vertically from the open lower end of the housing through its upper end wall. A valve plug is slidably mounted in the lower end of the pipe and is movable to seal the same when the housing is inserted into the beach sand to prevent the pipe from becoming clogged with sand. Upon withdrawal of the housing from the beach sand, the valve plug moves to open the pipe. Air is vented through the pipe to the region adjacent the lower end of the housing to prevent the formation of a partial vacuum which otherwise makes withdrawal substantially more difficult.
