摘要: A hybrid lens includes a primary lens element having a pair of opposing optical surfaces and a secondary lens element disposed directly over at least one of the optical surfaces. The primary lens element may include a 3D-printed layer, and the secondary lens element may be over-formed by casting. An electronic component such as a dimming component, a waveguide component, or an eye-tracking component may be integrated into the hybrid lens.

摘要: Various embodiments set forth computer vision systems. In some embodiments, one or more activation maps are generated based on eye gaze data and used to control operation of one or more sensors. Each activation map indicates a highest density for acquiring sensor data in a region corresponding to an eye gaze direction and lower densities for acquiring sensor data in other regions. After the sensor data is acquired, a processing pipeline sub-samples (or bins) and processes regions of the acquired sensor data at different ratios based on the eye gaze direction. The sub-sampled (or binned) data for each region is processed independently, and results of the processing are combined to generate processed data, such as an image that can be displayed to a user.

摘要: An apparatus may include an input, an output, a current source, a first switch configured to electrically couple the current source to the output, a current sink, a second switch configured to electrically couple the current sink to the output, and a driver configured to modulate states of the output to reflect states of the input by: detecting a first input state of the input, changing the output to a first output state corresponding to the first input state of the input by electrically coupling, via the first switch, the current source to the output, detecting a second input state of the input; and changing the output from the first output state to a second output state corresponding to the second input state of the input by electrically coupling, via the second switch, the current sink to the output. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.

摘要: An augmented reality headset is provided that includes a first microphone mounted on a headset and configured to receive a first audio signal from a speaker, and a second microphone remotely located from the headset and configured to receive a second audio signal from the speaker. The augmented reality headset also includes a memory storing multiple instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. When the one or more processors execute the instructions, they cause the augmented reality headset to: synchronize the first audio signal and the second audio signal, form an enhanced audio signal with the first audio signal and the second audio signal, and provide the enhanced audio signal to a user of the augmented reality headset.
