摘要: Disclosed herein are related to a device controlling a wireless communication link based on an average amount of radiation exposure and quality of service (QoS). In one aspect, the device includes a processor configured to determine the QoS indicating a target performance of a communication link of a communication interface. In one aspect, the processor is configured to determine radio resource information of the communication link. In one aspect, the processor is configured to predict an amount of radiation exposure for a time period according to the QoS, the radio resource information, and the detected proximity of the user. In one aspect, the processor is configured to compare the predicted amount of radiation exposure for the time period against a time averaged threshold amount of radiation exposure. In one aspect, the processor is configured to allocate radio resources to the communication interface, according to the comparison.

摘要: Described embodiments provide devices and methods for directing portions of signals to reduce power consumption. A wearable device may comprise N antennas configured to wirelessly receive and/or transmit incoming and/or outgoing signals. The N antennas may be spatially disposed on the device to enable at least one of the N antennas to be clear from blockage by a body part of a user when the device is maintained or worn against the body part, wherein N is an integer value greater than or equal to 2. The wearable device may comprise N receive chains coupled to the N antennas via transmit-receive couplers, the N receive chains configured to process the incoming signals. The wearable device may comprise a transmit chain configured to generate the outgoing signals. The wearable device may comprise a RF controller circuitry configured to direct portions of the generated outgoing signals via the transmit-receive couplers to the N antennas.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and method for providing quality of service to data streams transmitted via a single protocol stream. A scheduler of a sender can receive profiles corresponding to streams of data generated by an application of the sender. The scheduler can receive, from a receiver receiving the streams of data, congestion information of some the streams of data. The scheduler can determine, according to the congestion information and the profiles, a priority of a first stream with respect to a second stream of the streams of data, for a single protocol stream. An assembler of the sender can generate a plurality of packets of the single protocol stream using first packets of the first stream and second packets of the second stream in accordance with the priority. The sender can transmit to the receiver, the single protocol stream comprising the plurality of packets.

The first response can indicate a wake up time and a second session interval to perform the switch. The head wearable display can switch from the first link to the second link in the second session interval and after the wake up time.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for facilitating wireless communication of a wearable device. In one aspect, a wireless device receives a paging message from a cellular network, via a wireless link between the wireless device and a companion device. The paging message can be received while a cellular modem of the wireless device is operating in reduced power mode and not registered with the cellular network, and the companion device is registered with the cellular network. The wireless device can transition the cellular modem from the reduced power mode to an active mode in response to receiving the paging message via the wireless link with the companion device. The wireless device can register with the cellular network after the modem has transitioned to active mode, to establish a cellular link directly with the cellular network.
