摘要： An object engaging mechanism includes a screw-fitting clip and a tapping screw to which said screw-fitting clip is to be fitted. The screw-fitting clip includes a plurality of elastic engaging claws protruding radially from an edge of a center hole of an annular disk at an inclined angle relative to a surface of the annular disk, and a plurality of protruding pieces arranged on an outer peripheral portion of the annular disk and extending away from the annular disk on a same side as the elastic engaging claws. The tapping screw comprises a plurality of ridges and has a thread profile such that a first side of the ridges facing a shank end of the tapping screw is an outwardly convex curved flank, and a second side of the ridges is a gently inwardly concave curved flank. The elastic engaging claws of the screw-fitting clip have tips which are formed with bent end portions corresponding to the thread profile of the tapping screw, and the screw-fitting clip and the tapping screw engage an object therebetween by a forcible pushing operation whereby the shank end of the tapping screw is inserted through the center hole of the annular disk of the screw-fitting clip until a bearing surface of the annular disk reaches the object to be engaged, and the tips of the elastic engaging claws of the screw-fitting clip are fitted between the ridges of the tapping screw against a base portion of the inwardly concave curved flank of the ridges.

摘要： An individually packaged absorbent article having a pair of first flaps and a pair of second flaps with fasteners, such as adhesive fasteners thereon, is disclosed. The absorbent article comprises a pair of first flaps and a pair of second flaps joined to the main body portion apart from the first flaps in the longitudinal direction and extending laterally outward beyond the longitudinal side edges of the main body portion. The garment surface of each of the first and second flaps comprises a first flap fastener and a second flap fastener respectively. The first and second flaps are folded over the body surface of the main body portion to expose the flap fasteners. A wrapper for the absorbed article comprises a main wrapper sheet, a first flap fastener cover and a second flap fastener cover. The main wrapper sheet comprises a pair of longitudinal side portions, a pair of end portions, an inner surface facing the main body portion and an outer surface. The main wrapper sheet is positioned adjacent to the garment surface of the main body portion. The main wrapper sheet and the main body portion of the absorbent article comprise two transverse axes and three regions divided by the two axes. The second flap fastener cover is joined to the first flap fastener cover at least at a point in a region between the second flap fasteners and the first transverse axis. The end portion of the first flap fastener cover is joined to the end portion of the main wrapper sheet of the second region.

A finger insertion section, into which a finger may be inserted, is arranged on the back face of the main body. Also included is a pulse sensor which is configured to sense pulses from a user's finger that has been inserted into the finger insertion section. A display, which is arranged on the front face of the main body, is configured to display the pulses sensed by the pulse sensor. The display and the finger insertion section are arranged such that the display may be observed by the user while the user's finger is inserted into the finger insertion section.

摘要： An individually packaged absorbent article (20) having a pair of first flaps (24) and a pair of second flaps (25) with fasteners, such as adhesive fasteners (76, 77) thereon, is disclosed. The absorbent article is wrapped by a wrapper (78) for individually packaging the absorbent article. The wrapper comprises a main wrapper sheet (80) and a first flap fastener cover (84). Adhesive fasteners of the second flaps are releasably covered by an outer surface of the main wrapper sheet. The outer surface of the main wrapper sheet protects the fasteners located on the second flaps of the absorbent article and maintains the flaps in a position which protects an absorbent side of the absorbent article from contamination until the article is ready for use. The main wrapper sheet overlays one major surface of the absorbent article and by folding the article and sealing the wrapper in that folded orientation, an individually packaged disposable absorbent article is provided.
