Abstract: A method for treating a patient with respiratory illness is described according to one embodiment. The method includes the steps of receiving a set of screening spirometry test data measured by a spirometer, generating a first patient performance score based on the received set of screening spirometry test data, generating one of a first high alert when the first patient performance score crosses a first threshold and a first low alert when the first patient performance score fails to cross the first threshold, receiving a set of at-home physiological test data, generating a second patient performance score based on the received set of at-home physiological test data, generating one of a second high alert when the second patient performance score crosses a second threshold and a second low alert when the second patient performance score fails to cross the second threshold, receiving a set of at-home patient survey data entered by the patient, generating a third patient performance score based on the received set of at-home patient survey data, and generating one of a third high alert when the third patient performance score crosses a third threshold and a third low alert when the third patient performance score fails to cross the third threshold.

Abstract: A computing system obtains an information model specifying a first surgical plan for an orthopedic surgery to be performed on a patient. Additionally, the computing system modifies the first surgical plan during an intraoperative phase of the orthopedic surgery to generate a second surgical plan. During the intraoperative phase of the orthopedic surgery, a visualization device may present a visualization for display that is based on the second surgical plan.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate providing guidance to a user during performance of a program or routine using a personalized avatar. In an aspect, a system includes a reception component configured to receive biochemical information about a physiological state or condition of a user, including information identifying a presence or a status of one or more biomarkers. The system further includes an analysis component configured to determine or infer one or more characteristics of the physiological state or condition of the user based on the information identifying the presence or the status of the one or more biomarkers, and a visualization component configured to adapt an appearance of an avatar presented to the user based on the one or more characteristics to reflect the one or more characteristics.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to an immersive ankle rehabilitation training method and electronic apparatus based on upper limb motion signals. The innovation of this technology lies in that: firstly, this disclosure proposes a hybrid model of Regression LSTM corrected by a sliding window based voting algorithm, which predicts the changing angle of the user's wrist joint through wearable EMG sensors; secondly, this disclosure designs and develops two different VR training scenes for users of dorsiflexion and plantar flexion of foot; during the training, users wear VR headwear displays and EMG monitoring devices, to continuously perform wrist dorsiflexion or wrist palm flexion movements, predict the change in wrist joint angles in real-time through forearm sEMG signals, and map it to the contralateral ankle of the avatar in the virtual scene for rotation.

Abstract: An example method includes displaying, via a visualization device and overlaid on a portion of an anatomy of a patient viewable via the visualization device, a virtual model of the portion of the anatomy obtained from a virtual surgical plan for an orthopedic joint repair surgical procedure to attach a prosthetic to the anatomy; and displaying, via the visualization device and overlaid on the portion of the anatomy, a virtual guide that guides at least one of preparation of the anatomy for attachment of the prosthetic or attachment of the prosthetic to the anatomy.

Abstract: A computing system obtains an information model specifying a first surgical plan for an orthopedic surgery to be performed on a patient. Additionally, the computing system modifies the first surgical plan during an intraoperative phase of the orthopedic surgery to generate a second surgical plan.
