    摘要: The present invention causes spatial-mode light emitted from an optical fiber (11), which is a multimode fiber, to pass through a photorefractive medium (13). The photorefractive medium (13) includes holograms for signal separation that are written by irradiation of the photorefractive medium with (i) guide light having a wave front identical to the wave front of signal light having a particular spatial mode and (ii) control light. The photorefractive medium includes holograms recorded in a multiplex manner with use of control light having different incidence angles in correspondence with respective spatial modes. For signal separation, irradiating the photorefractive medium (13) with control light (15) having a particular angle separates signal light having a spatial mode corresponding to the incidence angle of the control light (15).

    摘要: A variety of information is transmitted to an electronic apparatus by using a microcomputer for low-speed processing and with saved power. A CPU acquires detection data of a thermistor, and detection data, such as the terminal voltage or the discharge current of a battery, at intervals of 10 seconds, through respective interfaces, calculates the remaining capacity and the total capacity of the battery, stores the results and the acquired data as transmission data in a RAM, and transmits this stored transmission data at intervals of one second from a communication interface to an electronic apparatus. Since the CPU transmits the data in one direction independently of the operation of the CPU on the electronic apparatus side, it is possible to greatly lower the operating clock of the CPU and to greatly reduce the consumption of power thereof.

    摘要: An information signal reproducing apparatus comprises a memory for storing encoded digital data and error correction data, and a decoder for decoding the digital data, producing decoded digital data organized in blocks, and delivering the decoded digital data one block at a time. A data transmission controller controls the transmission of the digital data from the memory to the decoder, and an analog signal processor forms a reproduced analog information signal in accordance with each block of the decoded digital data. A data supply controller controls the supply of each block of the decoded digital data to the analog signal processor. An operation controller includes a first control for controlling the operation of the data transmission controller and the data supply controller so as to cause the decoder to perform trial decoding of the digital data, and a second control for controlling the operation of the data transmission controller and the data supply controller so as to cause the decoder to perform actual decoding of the digital data after the trail decoding is completed.
