摘要: A warning system for vehicles monitors malfunctions in various items of a vehicle which are to be detected, such as, the failure of the tail lamps, headlamps, etc., whereby when a malfunction is detected in any one of the items, a visual indication corresponding to the malfunction of the item is given inside the vehicle compartment and then the indicated malfunction is indicated by voice inside the vehicle compartment when it is determined that a predetermined time has expired from the time of beginning the visual indication. The magnitude of the voice is controlled by the ambient sound level detected in the vehicle compartment.

摘要: Cladding units for a building and a seal structure for the joints thereof are disclosed. A cladding unit comprises a cladding member consisting of a framework and a face member attached to one side face thereof and fastener stringers for waterproof slide fasteners attached one each to the outer lateral parts of the cladding member. In a seal structure for the joint to be formed between the opposed frameworks of the cladding units mutually adjoined and attached to the backing member on the building, the joint formed between the adjoining cladding units is sealed by uniting the engaging parts of the opposed fastener stringers of these cladding units and the gap between the end parts of the fastener stringers and the gap between these end parts and the backing member of the building are sealed by filling the gaps with a wet sealing material.

摘要: According to the present invention, a leakage measurement apparatus includes a volume metering device having a diaphragm which is displaced in accordance with a change in volume of the measurement medium leaked from an object and transmitted to the diaphragm. The volume of the leakage is calculated based on the change of the displaced amount of the diaphragm. In this way, the amount of leakage can be measured directly from the change in volume of the measurement medium. Further, the volume of the leakage can be measured without being affected by a change in pressure, and the accuracy of measurement can be improved.

摘要: Cladding units for a building and a seal structure for the joints thereof are disclosed. A cladding unit comprises a cladding member comprised of a framework and a face member attached to one side face thereof and fastener stringers for a waterproof slide fastener attached one each to the outer lateral parts of the cladding member, the fastener stringers each comprising a waterproof tape and an engaging part provided with a multiplicity of coupling elements attached to the waterproof tape as spaced at fixed intervals along one longitudinal edge thereof, the end parts of the waterproof tapes of all adjoining fastener stringers being integrally joined, and the joined corner parts of the waterproof tapes protruding from the corner parts of the framework. The joint formed between the adjoining cladding units is sealed by coupling the engaging parts of the opposed fastener stringers of the cladding units. The gaps formed between the end parts of the fastener stringers are sealed by attaching the relevant waterproof sheets through the medium of an adhesive agent or by means of thermal welding to the joined corner parts of the waterproof tapes of the fastener stringers protruding from the corner parts of the frameworks of the cladding units.

摘要: A demand for a change in the operating condition of at least one of a plurality of vehicle mounted devices is issued by means of a single push button switch attached to the center of the steering wheel. When the vehicle occupant intends to manipulate a device such as a radio, stereo unit or an air conditioner, he depresses the switch to supply a microcomputer with a demand signal. The microcomputer produces an instruction signal with which a sound synthesizer produces sequential vocal announcements which are emitted via a speaker. The occupant depresses the switch again within a predetermined period of time after the emission of a vocal announcement naming a device intended to control so that the sound synthesizer now provides various manipulative information relating to the available manipulations of the selected device. The driver depresses the switch to issue responsive instructions in response to an announcement of desired manipulation. The microcomputer thus operates to produce necessary control signals which are fed to a corresponding control unit of the selected device. A sound recognizer may be used in place of or together with the switch to detect the demand and responsive instructions from the driver.
