摘要: Systems and methods for correcting a location of a terminal are provided. In various aspects, a processor in a position correction apparatus may associate a reference position with the terminal, and determine a range for the terminal based on the reference position. The processor may also associate a second position with the terminal, and determine if the second position associated with the terminal is outside the determined range for the terminal based on the reference position. Upon a determination that indicates that the second position is outside the determined range, the processor may correct the second position to a corrected position associated with the terminal.

摘要: There is provided a method for drying a ceramic formed body by hot air, the formed body having a peripheral face and end faces constituting a columnar shape, and at least one through-hole extending in an axial direction and open at the end face, the formed body containing ceramics and a heat-gelling binder. The hot air is blown to the formed body in a direction at an angle of 45 to 90 degrees with respect to the axial direction. The method can inhibit deformation such as a bending deformation or a torsional deformation generated in the ceramic formed body in the drying process and crack generation in the firing process after drying.

摘要: An oxygen sensor has an elongate plate form oxygen sensor element provided at a tip portion thereof with an oxygen detection portion which produces an electromotive force between electrodes or shows a variation in electrical resistance, according to the concentration of oxygen in a gas under measurement. The oxygen sensor element is composed of conductor portions each formed along the thickness direction of the oxygen sensor element so as to lead out a conductor lead provided in the oxygen sensor element to a surface of the oxygen sensor element. The oxygen sensor further has electrode terminal portions each provided on a surface of the oxygen sensor element so as to make conduction to the conductor lead through the conductor portion; contacts electrically connected to the electrode terminal portions of the oxygen sensor element; and a metallic container member containing the oxygen sensor element therein, wherein at least one of the conductor portions is located on the rear end side of contact point portions between the electrode terminal portions and the contacts.

摘要: A waterproof type oxygen sensor including a sensor element having electrodes on inner and outer surfaces, respectively, a housing for housing the sensor element, a gas-tightly sealed section arranged inside the housing for isolating the exhaust gases from air, and a water-repelling communicating section for communicating the air inside the gas-tightly sealed section with surrounding air. The inner and outer electrodes are adapted to contact air and exhaust gases, respectively. In the oxygen sensors, Y.gtoreq.10X.sup.0.35 in which X and Y are a value obtained by expressing the gas-tightness of the gas-tightly sealed section as an amount of a gas passing the gas-tightly sealed section and an amount Y of a gas passing the communicating section, respectively.
