Abstract:
A solenoid including a substantially cylindrical hollow bobbin made of an insulating material is provided, which is mountable on a housing body and is provided with at least two relay connectors anchored in an end area of the bobbin and projecting axially therefrom, and the solenoid is also coupled to a contact element. The solenoid and the contact element are two separate components which are connectable to each other by a connecting part of the contact element attachable to the housing body, by a suitable securing method, e.g., by soldering or welding.
Abstract:
An injection valve for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines which comprises a movable valve element cooperating with a valve seat disposed in a nozzle body, with a guide bore provided downstream of the valve seat. A swirl insert is partially compressed in the guide bore and disposes open swirl channels in the direction of its circumference. The swirl channels extend in an axial direction from one end of the swirl insert to the other, are slanted toward the longitudinal shaft of the injection valve and discharge in a tangential direction into a preparation bore. The swirl channels serve simultaneously as metering channels whose throttling length is adjustable by displacing the swirl insert inside the guide bore.
Abstract:
An assembling device for assembling and disassembling a fuel injector in a mounting hole of a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine has a jacket body at least partially surrounding the fuel injector. A contact section, on which both a hold-down force for holding down the fuel injector in the mounting hole and a disassembling force for disassembling the fuel injector can be exerted on the fuel injector, and a collar section protruding from the mounting hole are formed on the jacket body. The collar section has at least one thread, in which a disassembling screw can be screwed in so that when the disassembling screw is tightened it abuts on the cylinder head and transmits a disassembling force on the collar section so that the assembling device (1) with the fuel injector (3) inserted into the assembling device (1) is extracted.

Abstract:
An injection nozzle for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, the nozzle being arranged to inject fuel into the intake tube of the engine. The injection valve includes a valve housing of ferromagnetic material, in which a tubular connection element which functions as a core with which an armature is arranged to cooperate. Joined to the valve housing is a nozzle body having a valve seat with which a sealing section of a nozzle needle also arranged to cooperate. The nozzle needle is guided by guide sections in a guide bore of the nozzle body, and the guide section adjacent to the sealing section is provided with metering bores. By metering fuel upstream of the valve seat, the fuel metering operation is prevented from being impaired by deposits.
Abstract:
A fuel injection system for internal combustion engines having a multiplicity of injection valves which serves to provide fuel supply is proposed. The fuel injection system includes a common, rigid fuel line, having plug nipples into which the injection valves associated with the individual cylinders of the engine can be inserted in a sealing manner. The fuel line comprises one fuel distributor line and one fuel return flow line located one above the other. Each injection valve has one inlet stub and one outlet stub disposed concentrically relative to one another, protruding into the plug nipple in such a manner that the inflow stub communicates with the fuel distributor line and the outflow stub communicates with the fuel return flow line. As a result, not only is it possible to provide simple sealing toward the outside between the injection valve and the plug nipple but also rapid assembly of the fuel injection system is assured.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electromagnetically actuatable valve, which serves in particular to inject fuel into the intake tube of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines having externally supplied ignition. The valve includes a flat armature which is firmly connected with a movable valve member which cooperates with a fixed valve seat and embodied as a ball element. The flat armature is pivotably supported on its side remote from the valve seat or on the side oriented toward the valve seat on a spring tongue preferably embodied out of a remnant air disc. The one-sided fixation of the flat armature on the spring tongue assures an unequivocal up-or-down movement of the flat armature.

A connection carrier, e.g., a connection carrier for the bobbins of solenoids, includes a positioning section for positioning the connection carrier in a recess of an injection-molded part surrounding the connection carrier and includes a locking section projecting over the width of the positioning section for anchoring the connection carrier in the injection-molded part.
