Abstract:
Disclosed is a vaporizer with a heating element located on a side opposite the mouthpiece. The heating element can heat an herbal product that is located away from the vaporizer and not within a canister that may require multiple heatings of the same product, producing a burnt flavor. The heating element can be in the shape of a coiled straw-like structure or otherwise incorporate a tubular passageway to provide better air flow during inhalation. The air flow tip and the tube can also be a single piece to allow for easier cleaning and replacement, or removal of the air flow tip if the tip includes resin of a controlled substance.
Abstract:
A beverage composition for weight loss is provided which includes cayenne pepper; a palate enhancing agent selected from the group consisting of fruits, herbs, vegetables and mixtures thereof, the agent including pulp of the fruits, the herbs, the vegetables or the mixtures thereof; a least two spices selected from the group consisting of black or white pepper, ginger, cinnamon, mustard seed and mixtures thereof; and water in an amount from 80 to 99% by weight of the composition; and wherein the composition has a total calorie content from 0 to 100 based on 100 gram of the composition.
Abstract:
Method for processing an article comprising a mixed conducting metal oxide material, which method comprises (a) contacting the article with an oxygen-containing gas and reducing or increasing the temperature of the oxygen-containing gas; (b) when the temperature of the oxygen-containing gas is reduced, reducing the oxygen activity in the oxygen-containing gas; and (c) when the temperature of the oxygen-containing gas is increased, increasing the oxygen activity in the oxygen-containing gas.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for an electrochemical impedance measurement, and in particular circuitry and components employed for such measurements. The system employs an injected broadband AC signal to produce an associated response signal. The subsequent analysis of injected and response signals, considering both magnitude and phase, gives broadband impedance and therefore fluid characteristic information. An embodiment described is relative to a smart oil sensor system suitable for sensing, analyzing and reporting the condition of oil or other liquids used in equipment and machinery.
Abstract:
A chemical formulation for cleaning and treating plastic and other surfaces comprises linseed oil in a concentration of 43%-59% wt.; mineral spirits in a concentration of 41%-57% wt.; and carnauba wax in a concentration of 2%-10% wt. A method of using the chemical formulation comprises applying it the composition to a surface.
Abstract:
An apparatus for determining a condition parameter of a battery, receives measurement signals related to the battery, determines input data such as electrical impedance from the measurement signals, and provides the input data to a plurality of different prediction algorithms, wherein each prediction algorithm provides a condition parameter estimate. A plurality of condition parameter estimates are then provided to a decision fusion algorithm, allowing a more accurate prediction of the condition parameter.

Abstract:
Collapsible radiant barrier void filler, comprising: first and second scored sheets having interior and exterior surfaces and fold lines to attain collapsed and expanded configurations; a cell core being collapsible to a closed cell configuration and expandable to an open cell configuration, the cell core having end portions secured to oppositely disposed portions of the interior surfaces of the scored sheets, and the cell core having oppositely disposed cell side portions; and a radiant barrier having a reflective first side and an opposing second side wherein the second side is disposed upon at least one of the interior surfaces of one of the scored sheets and wherein the first reflective side is juxtaposed adjacent at least one of the oppositely disposed cell side portions in the expanded open cell configuration so as to maintain an air space adjacent the first reflective side that extends into the cell core.
