Abstract:
The invention relates to a two component disinfectant composition comprising: (A) a peracetic acid-generating component comprising acetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and an organic phosphonic acid; and (B) a stabilizer component comprising an alkaline agent and a chelating agent, wherein the chelating agent is selected from the group consisting of N,N-bis(carboxymethyl)-L-glutamic acid, methylglycine diacetic acid, nitrilotriacetic acid, and alkali metal salts thereof, and a mixture of two or more thereof and to the aqueous disinfectant solution obtainable by mixing and diluting components (A) and (B) in water. The invention further relates to a method of disinfecting surface and instruments, particularly flexible endoscopes, using said aqueous disinfectant solution.

The device includes a first footrest rotationally coupled to the first platform, a second footrest rotationally coupled to the second platform, a first recording device coupled to the first footrest and adapted to record the angular movement of the first footrest, and a second recording device coupled to the second footrest and adapted to record the angular movement of the second footrest.
Abstract:
A coating system for floors, containing a) one or more agents in which, together or separately, a polymer or polymer/wax dispersion and aziridine and, where desired, a flatting component are present, for application on the floor in order to form a crosslinked base film that is not capable of being removed by wet chemical means, as well as b) an aziridine-free agent containing conventional floor-maintenance components, in particular a polymer or polymer/wax dispersion, for the purpose of generating a sacrificial film on said base film that is capable of being removed by wet chemical means.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a combined fastening and contacting system for electrical components on superimposed circuit boards in an electronic housing, especially for the automobile sector, as well as a method for fastening and contacting electrical components. The novel fastening and contacting system has two parts, one of which is embodied as a holding frame for electrical components while the other part is configured as a pressing frame for fixing the holding frame. There is formed a combined fastening and contacting system for electrical components on superimposed circuit boards, which makes it possible to replace faulty electrical components in a simple fashion while allowing superimposed circuit boards to be electrically contacted in a safe manner. The system is particularly suitable for the automobile sector.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention relates to neuronal nicotinic receptor ligands, methods of identifying such ligands for neuronal nicotinic receptor modulation, particularly such ligands demonstrating beneficial side effect tolerability, and methods of using such neuronal nicotinic receptor ligands to provide pharmaceutical compositions and products.
Abstract:
Concentrated or ready-for-use disinfecting agent for medical or dental suction apparatus and related equipment, comprising a special active ingredient of amine compounds and having a viscosity between 100 and 2000 mPas, preferably between 350 and 1000 mPas.
Abstract:
A tote with insect-repellant properties comprises a base and a sidewall coupled to the base and at least in part defines a tote interior. At least one of the base and the sidewall is constructed from a polymer compound including a polymer and cedar wood. The polymer compound has a ratio of cedar wood to polymer such that the compound is effective to repel insects from within the tote interior.
Abstract:
The difficulty of working with titanium has inhibited the adoption of titanium compressor wheels in automotive air boost devices. The invention provides an economical process for the manufacture of titanium compressor wheels. A hybrid process is disclosed, wherein a forging process is used to produce a near net shape pattern including filled in areas (10, 11) which must be subsequently machined or milled away to produce the net shape compressor wheel. Using the hybrid or two-step process, the technical complexity and time investment in each step is greatly reduced, flaws as associated with the casting technique are eliminated, the process allows itself to be fully automated, the dimensional accuracy of the final product is greater than with conventional techniques, and the strength of the compressor wheel is increased as compared to cast product.
Abstract:
A spool for holding photographic film, consisting of a core member provided with flanges between which flexible film may be wound and an elongated slot into which the end portion of a film strip may be entered and fastened. Adjacent the flanges are raised shoulders extending about the circumference of the core and above the core surface. The shoulders each gradually increase in thickness in the film-winding direction and terminate in a stepped portion corresponding to the thickness of the film. In a preferred embodiment, shoulder portions accommodate the edge portion of a full-width film, have an initial height above the surface level of said spool, and then rise gradually to an additional height approximately equal to the thickness of the film. When the full-width portion of the film is juxtaposed the spool flanges, said shoulders provide the film with a substantially level transition surface for each convolution of the full-width film, thereby avoiding imperfections on the spool-core surface.
