Abstract:
An electrical switching apparatus, such as a subminiature circuit breaker, includes a housing assembly, separable contacts, an operating mechanism having an actuator device and a latching assembly, a first trip device for tripping open the separable contacts in response to an overcurrent condition, and a second trip device for tripping open the separable contacts in response to an arc fault, a ground fault or a remotely transmitted signal. The subminiature circuit breaker includes a reset solenoid and a trip solenoid. The resent solenoid is coupled to the actuator device, and includes a coil operable to electrically reset the separable contacts. The trip solenoid is coupled to the latching assembly, and includes a coil operable to move the catch lever, thereby electrically tripping open the separable contacts.
Abstract:

The circuit breaker module includes: a frame assembly, a faceplate assembly, and a number of circuit breakers, the circuit breakers having an electrically conductive surface and an extending handle, the frame assembly having a front member and a back member, the frame assembly front member and the frame assembly back member being spaced from each other and defining an enclosed space, the frame assembly front member being electrically conductive, the faceplate assembly having an electrically conductive faceplate, the faceplate being a planar member with a number of openings therein, the faceplate coupled to the frame assembly front member, the circuit breaker disposed in the frame assembly enclosed space, and wherein the circuit breaker is in electrical communication with the faceplate and the frame assembly front member, whereby a current may pass from the circuit breaker to the frame assembly front member.
Abstract:
A sealed plug-in circuit breaker panel has an enclosure defining a sealed interior portion. The enclosure includes a housing, a face plate removably coupled to the housing and a front seal member disposed between the face plate and the housing such that the face plate and the housing are sealingly engaged. The panel further includes an electrical bus structure coupled to the housing, a plurality of first plug-in members coupled to the bus structure and a number of circuit breakers disposed in the enclosure. Each circuit breaker includes a manual operator and at least a pair of second plug-in members which are electrically coupled to corresponding first plug-in members. The manual operator protrudes through and extends from a respective aperture formed in the face plate. The panel further includes a number of feeders and load connectors electrically coupled to the bus structure.
Abstract:
An improved electrical switching apparatus comprises a plurality of electrical switching assemblies in a ganged configuration. A bridging device mechanically connects together the actuator devices of the electrical switching assemblies to cause the simultaneous tripping of all of the electrical switching assemblies when an overload or an arc fault is detected on any electrical switching assembly of the gang.
Abstract:
An collet and lock nut assembly includes a collet for receiving a cutting tool shank and a lock nut for creating a gripping force between the collet and the shank. The collet has a nose portion and a body portion separated by an annular groove. The lock nut has a plurality of retention tabs and a corresponding number of clear portions. The collet and lock nut assembly can be easily assembled by inserting at least one retention tab within the groove of the collet, and then applying pressure to the collet such that the remaining retention tabs of the lock nut are received within the groove of the collet to place the assembly in a locked position. The collet and cutting tool shank can be drawn from the tool holder by applying rotational torque to the lock nut. The collet is easily removed from the lock nut by applying pressure in any circumferential, lateral direction against the collet.
Abstract:
A vehicle includes a horizontal support frame mounted to the vehicle, a first slewing ring bearing moveably mounted on and substantially parallel to the horizontal support frame, an articulating boom having a first end mounted on the first slewing ring bearing and moveable relative to the frame, and a mower deck mounted on a second end of the articulating boom for positioning relative to the frame and the vehicle.
Abstract:
A rotary cutting tool that is composed of a tool shank with at least one chucking groove or chip flute and one exchangeable cutting insert. At the tip of the shank a recess for accommodating the cutting insert is provided. The tool shank, on its circumference, has a limb with a bearing surface that is inclined relative to the tool axis and that corresponds to a likewise inclined bearing surface on a wing of the cutting insert. The inclination of the bearing surfaces produces an axial force that retains the cutting insert on the tool shank. As stated in 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading “Abstract of the Disclosure.” The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.
Abstract:
An injection valve, which overcomes residual magnetic forces and cohesive forces that act between the armature and the core to make the armature stick to the core, impeding the closing motion of the valve needle. The injection valve has a spring adjusting sleeve and a stroke adjusting sleeve for the separate adjustment of the spring force of a restoring spring and of the stroke of the valve needle: these sleeves are disposed in a through bore of a valve end cap. The stroke of the valve needle is limited by a downstream end face of the stroke adjusting sleeve, which when the injection valve is fully open rests on an upstream face end of a fastening segment of the valve needle. A remanent air gap is left between the armature and the core. The novel injection valve is especially suitable for fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.
Abstract:
A frame for a membrane, the frame comprising a rear outer section for structural integrity of the frame, wherein the rear outer section surrounds an inner frame opening; a front inner section secured to a front of the rear outer section to form a first chamber for housing a membrane, and a section for retrieving the membrane, wherein the front inner section has a curved or angular front surface in the form of an integrally formed or separately attached skin and wherein the first chamber and the section for retrieving the membrane are at the opposite ends of the frame; a first membrane guide located within the first chamber for use in deployment of a membrane; wherein a first aperture from which the membrane may be deployed from the first membrane guide and a second aperture through which the membrane may be received are located at opposing ends of the front inner section such that, when deployed, the membrane covers the inner frame opening and the majority of the front surface; and wherein access panels are provided in the front inner section for access into the first chamber.
