    摘要： Disclosed is a deconstructed computer that operates as multifunctional headphones having an ornamental appearance. In one embodiment, the headphones include a plurality of modular beads that are connected by a wire in an open necklace configuration. The wire and the modular beads are distributed and shaped so that they can be comfortably draped and counter-balanced around a wearer's body, such as in the manner of jewelry. Additionally, the wire and the modular beads can be adjusted in multiple configurations without falling off or slipping into unwanted positions. Each of the modular beads include various types of input and output devices to communicate with one another and/or other external electronic devices paired thereto.

For example, a method for using at least one resource of a variety of electronic devices from another electronic device may include receiving resource-sharing information associated with a resource-sharing electronic device via near field communication, determining a resource-sharing scheme for using the resources of the resource-sharing electronic device based on the resource-sharing information, and sharing at least one resource of the resource-sharing electronic device using the determined resource-sharing scheme. The resource-sharing information may be received from a near field communication interface of the resource-sharing electronic device or from a radio frequency identification tag associated with the resource-sharing electronic device.

Such communication provides users of personal media devices with access to several Wi-Fi oriented applications. For example, in one embodiment a personal media device may wirelessly download subscription assets (e.g., podcast) as they become available. In another embodiment, content specific or local to a merchant may be provided to personal media devices that are in wireless communication with a wireless router affiliated with the merchant. For example, if the merchant is a restaurant, the merchant may provide a menu to the personal media device and the user may place an order on his or her media device by selecting items on the menu.
