The blade is formed such that the thickness of the inner peripheral blade end of the blade that is the inner peripheral end of the impeller is smaller in the inter-blade-ring center section than in the blade-ring proximate section.

    摘要： A blade included in an impeller is formed so that, when viewed in a vertical cross-sectional view of the blade, a pressure surface of the blade and a suction surface of the blade opposite to the pressure surface are curved more in the direction in which the impeller rotates, in their areas farther from the axis of rotation of the impeller and closer to the exterior of the blade, and are arched so that a portion near the center of the blade is most distant from a straight line connecting the inner end and the outer end of the blade, the pressure surface and the suction surface form a curved surface including at least one circular arc, and a straight portion of the blade is formed to be connected to the curved surface on its one side, and extend toward the inner end of the blade on its other side.

    摘要： The length of a cross flow fan in the rotational axis direction is longer than the length of an air outlet in the longitudinal direction, and the cross flow fan has a fan extension positioned beyond each end of the air outlet in the rotational axis direction. Deflectors are provided in the air-conditioning apparatus main body. An outlet airflow blown from each fan extension of the cross flow fan impinges upon a corresponding one of the deflector. Furthermore, the shape of blade portions of the fan extensions of the cross flow fan and the shape of blade portions opposing the air outlet are different from each other. The wind speed of the outlet airflow blown from the blade portion is lower than the wind speed of an outlet airflow blown from the blade portion.

The blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least one long-chord blade section having the longer chord protrudes toward the inner circumferential side, relative to the blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least other one of the blade sections as the short-chord blade section having the shorter chord.

A plurality of convex portions are provided so as to disturb an air stream flowing along a surface of a casing opposing the impeller, and the positions of the convex portions are arranged apart in the rotational axis direction of the impeller.
