Abstract:
An apparatus and method generating a road image including no features such as trees and tunnels hiding or covering a road surface. A mobile measuring apparatus installed in a vehicle may acquire a distance and orientation point cloud, a camera image, GPS observation information, a gyro measurement value, and an odometer measurement value, while moving in a target area. The position and attitude localizing apparatus may localize the position and attitude of the vehicle based on the GPS observation information, the gyro measurement value and the odometer measurement value. The point cloud generating apparatus may generate a point cloud based on the camera image, the distance and orientation point cloud, and a position and attitude localized value. The point cloud orthoimage generating apparatus may extract points close to a road surface exclusively from the point cloud by removing points higher than the road surface, orthographically project each extracted point onto a horizontal plane, and generate a point cloud orthoimage. The point cloud orthoimage may show the road surface including no features covering or hiding the road surface.

The invention provides a polymeric piezoelectric material including a helical chiral polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of from 50,000 to 1,000,000 and having optical activity, wherein a crystallinity of the material measured by a DSC method is from 20% to 80%, and a product of a standardized molecular orientation MORc measured by a microwave transmission type molecular orientation meter based on a reference thickness of 50 μm and the crystallinity is from 25 to 250.

A magnetic disk apparatus includes: a driving unit; a position error feedback control system; and a velocity control system. The driving unit is configured to move a magnetic head operative for magnetic recording/reproduction of information on a magnetic disk. The position error feedback control system is configured to perform feedback control of the driving unit based on difference between target track position and detected position of the magnetic head. The velocity control system is configured to vary a target velocity curve based on position of the magnetic head before motion, the target track position of the magnetic head, and position of a data sector to be subjected to recording/reproduction, for using a control mathematical model of the driving unit to control the driving unit so that velocity of the driving unit follows the target velocity curve.

The disk cartridge has a size of 58 mm (L1)×54 mm (L2)×4 mm (L3), a thickness less than 5 mm and a small area less than a square of 65 mm. The disk cartridge has a notch 10 formed on the insertion side and having a width of 2 mm (L6) and a length of 27.5 mm (i.e., a taper portion of 6 mm (L4)+a straight portion of 21.5 mm (L5)).

A piezoelectric substrate supporting structure for piezoelectric transformer is provided which, in the supporting and fixing of a piezoelectric substrate on a base plate or in an outer trim case, does not inhibit the vibration of the piezoelectric substrate, exhibits high impact resistance and enables stable supporting, is free from performance deterioration and enables simultaneously and easily performing an electrode takeoff from the piezoelectric substrate. Further, a piezoelectric transformer including the above piezoelectric substrate supporting structure is provided.The above piezoelectric substrate supporting structure for piezoelectric transformer comprises a piezoelectric substrate 30 as a constituent of piezoelectric transformer 20, which is fitted with electrodes, and conductive supporting members 10A to 10C interposed between portions of the piezoelectric substrate electrodes 34A to 34D and portions of conductive parts 50, 60 disposed on a mounted member 22, 24 for securing the piezoelectric substrate 30, wherein the conductive supporting members are composed of an elastic nonmetal material and a conductive material.
