    摘要: A spark gap comprising a cathode and an anode is provided. The spark gap is divided into two partial spark gaps by means of a central piece, namely a high-pressure spark gap and an effective spark gap. The effective spark gap can for example, be used to generate monochromatic x-rays. In order to guarantee a defined switching time, the high pressure spark gap which is initially switched to defined, is used. The switching initiates a potential so high on the centre piece that, when the high pressure spark gap is switched, the effective spark gap can also be switched in a defined manner without significant delays, to a visibly higher voltage.

    摘要: A detector for radiation, particularly high energy electromagnetic radiation is provided. The detector includes a converting section including a cathode for converting the radiation incident on the converting section in electrons by the photoelectric effect. The detector further includes a gas electron multiplier for generating an electron avalanche from electrons which are generated by the converting section and enter the gas electron multiplier, the gas electron multiplier including a first electrode, a dielectric layer and a second electrode, the first electrode being disposed at a first side of the dielectric layer adjacent to the converting section and the second electrode being disposed at a second side of the dielectric layer opposite to the first side. The gas electron multiplier includes a number of holes filled with gas, the holes extending through the first electrode, the dielectric layer and the second electrode.

    摘要: In a magnetic resonance system and a method and device for generating a control command sequence for operating the magnetic resonance system, a magnetic resonance data acquisition sequence is provided to a processor and is modified in the processor. The sequence operates the magnetic resonance system to acquire magnetic resonance data from a subject in multiple individual data acquisitions for subsequent automated evaluation of the individual data acquisitions with respect to an evaluation parameter. The individual evaluation results are combined into an overall evaluation result. The control command sequence is automatically modified in the processor by varying at least one sequence control parameter between different individual data acquisitions so that a variance of a measurement error in the overall evaluation result is minimized.

    摘要: An energy supplying device for a load has a direct current source, a number of switching stages, and a control device. The switching stages are connected to the direct current source, the load, and the control device such that the control device can drive the switching stages to selectively connect the load to the direct current source. Each switching stage has a field effect transistor and a number of freewheeling diodes connected in opposition to the respective field effect transistor in parallel. The field effect transistors have a maximum operational threshold frequency. Each freewheeling diode has a recovery time. For each switching stage, the recovery times of the respective freewheeling diodes correspond with the reciprocal value of the threshold frequency of the respective field effect transistor. The control device controls the switching stages at least intermittently such that power is reflected back into the switching stages on the basis of a mismatch.

    摘要: An RF cavity includes a chamber, a conductive wall that encloses the chamber and has an inner side and an outer side, a switch arrangement comprising a plurality of solid-state switches arranged along a circumference of the wall around the chamber, wherein the solid-state switches are connected to the conductive wall such that RF currents are induced in the conductive wall when the switch arrangement is activated, as a result of which RF power is coupled into the chamber of the RF cavity, and a shielding device located on the outer side of the conductive wall, along a circumference of the RF cavity, the shielding device configured to increase the impedance of a propagation path of RF currents along the outer side of the wall such that the RF currents coupled into the wall are suppressed on the outer side of the wall.

    摘要: A push-pull amplifier is provided for amplifying an input signal, having first and second amplifier elements. Each of the amplifier elements has a current-emitting electrode, a current-collecting electrode, and a current-controlling electrode. The input signal is supplied to the current-controlling electrodes of the amplifier elements via a respective input connection and a respective input inductor arranged between the respective input connection and the respective current-controlling electrode. The current-collecting electrodes are connected via a respective supply inductor having a common supply voltage. The current-emitting electrode of each amplifier element is connected to the current-collecting electrode of the other amplifier element via a respective capacitor. The current-emitting electrodes are connected to output connections on which the output signal can be picked up, and to a reference potential via a respective output inductor. The supply inductors of the amplifier elements are inductively coupled to the input inductors and the output inductors of the respectively other amplifier element.
