    摘要： A bedbug trap that has a series of stacked containers. The top container holds a quantity of water, sugar and yeast, which generates carbon dioxide. The central container holds a small heating pad to attract the bedbugs and to heat the water and yeast mixture to aid in the fermentation. A hose with a water trap system brings the generated carbon dioxide from the upper chamber to the bottom chamber. This chamber sits in a bowl that has a rough exterior and a smooth interior. Holes, formed around the base of the bottom chamber allow the carbon dioxide to escape into the room, which attracts the bedbugs. The assembled unit is large, to trap as many bedbugs as possible in the shortest amount of time. Finally, the water, sugar and yeast are common household items that are easily and cheaply replenished as needed.

    摘要： Apparatus for protecting a signal line bus driver from overvoltage faults may include a first solid-state switch configured to block current having a positive voltage when open and a second solid-state switch configured to block current having a negative voltage when open. A comparator circuit may produce a output signal responsively to presence of a fault-induced voltage in the signal line that has a magnitude that exceeds the reference voltage. The first and second switches may be connected in series with one another and with the bus driver. The switches may be interposed between the bus driver and an output end of the signal line and may responsively to the comparator circuit output signal.

    摘要： A portable electric wallpaper steamer has a generator (G) including a base (1) and lid (2), both injection molded of plastic material. An elastomeric sealing ring (29) is seated in a recess in a circumferential interengagement zone between the lid and base and is held compressed by the interengagement of engagement members (24) on the lid with cooperating engagement members (39) on the base. The lid-engagement members (24) and base-engagement members (39) comprise integrally molded parts of the lid and base and one or both are resiliently deformable so that they can be brought into snap-fit engagement with each other by downward movement of the lid relative to the base to form a steam pressure tight seal. An electric heating element (6) is mounted in the base for heating water therein to generate steam. The lid includes a handle (9), filling port (10), safety valve (13) and a steam outlet port (21) connected to a wall paper steaming plate (W) by a pipe.

    摘要： A radiation beam, for example a therapeutic radiation beam such as an IMRT or VMAT X-ray beam is monitored using a Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor (MAPS) detector. Photons of the radiation beam can interact with the MAPS detector, and the radiation beam configuration can be estimated from the determined positions of the interactions. The detector is made sufficiently thin that it interacts only very weakly with the X-ray photons. For example, less than 1 in 103 of the X-ray photons might interact with the detector. Hence, the disturbance to the X-ray beam is negligible.

    摘要： A method for generating and maintaining hierarchical tags with community-based ratings is provided. Tags for media streams are organized into a hierarchical format. Users may select tags from the hierarchical tag database that describes a particular multimedia content. If the user is unable to locate a desired tag, the user may submit a new tag. Upon submission of the new tag, a librarian approves the tag before storing and placing the tag in the hierarchical tag database. Users are also able to rate the quality of the association between the tag and the multimedia content. If a tag is rated low, the tag may be removed from the hierarchical tag database. If the tag is rated highly, display of the tag in a list of tags becomes more prominent.
