摘要: A device updating system may store data from an application to be updated, especially personalization data that is to be persisted beyond the version update. After the data is stored, the application may be deleted and a migration application is installed. The migration application may use a matrix or the like characterizing differences between prior editions of the application and the one being installed. The migration application may determine the previous edition and updates the personalization data according to the matrix. After the data is updated, the migration application may be deleted and the new application installed. The new application may retrieve the updated data and may be ready to operate without concern about what the previous edition may have been. Memory space may be conserved by not requiring the new application to carry the version matrix and all possible changes between the current edition and all possible previous editions.

摘要: The subject matter described herein includes systems, methods, and computer readable media for utilizing one or more preferred application lists in a wireless device reader. A transaction terminal designates compatible application identifiers, where each of the compatible application identifiers is respectively associated with a transaction application that is compatible with the transaction terminal. A proximity payment system environment (PPSE) application is configured to store user preferred application identifiers, where each user preferred application identifier is respectively associated with a to transaction application stored on the mobile wireless device. A wireless device reader for receives the compatible application identifiers from the transaction terminal, and stores the compatible application identifiers in preferred applications lists (PALs).

摘要: A hydraulic unit (1) mounted on a vehicle with an adjustable platform which is supported by two mechanically separate arms actuated by a separate hydraulic lifting device (5, 6). The hydraulic unit has the supply and return and preferably includes a balance valve (21) for controlling lowering of the platforms; a flow divider (22) enabling a division of the supply fluid into two flows having an identical flow rate, and each supplying one of the hydraulic lifting devices; and a resetting solenoid valve (23) that, when the operator controls the resetting of the hydraulic lifting devices, regardless of the operation direction and position thereof, and isolates one of the hydraulic devices (6) in order to immobilize the same while the other hydraulic lifting device (5 or 6) is adjusted.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for generating error reports with enhanced privacy are described. In an embodiment the error is triggered by an input to a software program. An error report is generated by identifying conditions on an input to the program which ensure that, for any input which satisfies the conditions, the software program will follow the same execution path such that the error can be reproduced. The error report may include these conditions or may include a new input generated using the conditions.

摘要: A pseudo holographic visual effect is produced by acquiring at least two actual images of a subject wherein each image represents a different viewing angle of the single subject. Intermediary images corresponding to other viewing angles of the subject may be extrapolated from the two actual images or two adjacent images if a sufficient number of actual images are not available to create the desired level of resolution. To create the effect, an initial start image is displayed. Computer based sensors or camera images from a camera are then used to determine any movement of the device or user from the initial position at which the initial image was displayed. Once movement is detected or once the position of the viewer is determined, the initial image is replaced with an image that corresponds to the change in the detected viewing angle or with an image that corresponds to the viewing angle of the viewer. This creates a pseudo holographic effect whereby the orientation of subject of the image appears to remain fixed despite the display or the viewer being moved. Additional layers for the image can be created by acquiring images of a background separately, creating a set of images that correspond to different viewing angles of the background and overlaying the background images with subject images during display.

摘要: A method is disclosed of forming on a moving surface an auxiliary antenna for an RFID tag. The method includes the steps of providing a webstock of polymeric material including a conductive film, conveying the webstock with the moving surface, and applying the conductive film to the moving surface in a shape corresponding to the auxiliary antenna. The moving surface may include cardboard in a roll manufacturing process. Depending on the thickness of the auxiliary antenna the step of applying the conductive film may include cold or hot stamping. Apparatus for forming an auxiliary antenna for an RFID tag is also disclosed.
