摘要: A method for providing access to data via a voice interface. In one embodiment, the system includes a voice recognition unit and a speech processing server that work together to enable users to interact with the system using voice commands guided by navigation context sensitive voice prompts, and provide user-requested data in a verbalized format back to the users. Digitized voice waveform data are processed to determine the voice commands of the user. The system also uses a “grammar” that enables users to retrieve data using intuitive natural language speech queries. In response to such a query, a corresponding data query is generated by the system to retrieve one or more data sets corresponding to the query. The user is then enabled to browse the data that are returned through voice command navigation, wherein the system “reads” the data back to the user using text-to-speech (TTS) conversion and system prompts.

摘要: The present invention is a method and system for disabling time critical and moving targets and an air deployed guided missile launcher. A system for disabling a time critical target at a site within a geographical area in accordance with the invention includes a plurality of spaced apart mostly buried missile launchers located within or adjacent to the geographical area with each spaced apart mostly buried mobile missile launcher containing a guided missile, any site within the geographical area being located at a distance from at least one spaced apart missile launcher not more than a maximum distance of travel of a guided missile launched from at least one of the spaced apart missile launchers to the site, the time of travel of a missile from the missile launcher to the site requiring less time than a maximum time required to enable the time critical target at the site.

摘要: A method, system, and computer-readable medium is described for analyzing information to assist security personnel in identifying security threats. In some situations, various threat trend analyses are used to identify trends in various security-related information, and trend analysis information may then be presented to appropriate users (e.g., via displayed graphical charts). In a similar manner, in some situations various types of threat alerts are used to notify appropriate personnel when current conditions trigger the alert, such as in a real-time manner. In some situations, the trend analyses and alerts are selected for a user based on a current role of the user, and in some situations the information about a possible security threat is provided to various security personnel that are determined to be appropriate for the information, such as security personnel in affected geographical locations or that have capabilities related to preventing or addressing such threats.
