摘要： A packaging apparatus for bulk material is disclosed having a former transforming packaging film into a tube, interdigitating means engaging and advancing the film over the former, delivery means for providing a charge of material or product to the package at the bottom of the tube and sealing and cutting jaws to complete the package. The interdigitating means for feeding the new length of material includes idler rollers mounted on support arms. The rollers engage the sides of the tube, flatten the tube and upon continued movement form an elongated zig-zag path to provide the next package length. Before feeding the film F, stripping action can be initiated by initial film feed movement. An upstream brake is engaged to hold the film during the stripping action and released during the film feeding action. Springs on the upper and lower rollers assure alignment of the film and prevent over stressing of the tube.

摘要： A network for sensing video noise power over a wide dynamic range and outting a voltage proportional to that noise power. The input signal is filtered, inverted and rectified to separate the noise component from the signal. The noise component is then converted to a negative level voltage which is added to first and second preset voltages. A non-linear output voltage which is a function of the first signal sum is provided for driving the voltage threshold devices in external equipment. A linear voltage output which is a function of the second signal sum is also provided for driving the voltage threshold devices of external equipment.

摘要： A holding apparatus includes an anchor plate including upper and lower sections and a core member sandwiched medially of the upper and lower sections. A bore passes through the upper and lower sections and the core member. A plurality of elongated support legs are connected to the anchor plate and are adaptable along opposing radial paths. An elongated support rod is included for axially receiving and supporting the filter. The support rod is engageable with the anchor plate such that the support rod becomes aligned along a vertical plane while extending away from the anchor plate. The apparatus further includes a locking wedge having an inverted conical shape and an elongated sleeve formed therein for attaching to the support rod. The locking wedge engages the filter such that the filter becomes positioned between the locking wedge and the anchor plate. The locking wedge includes threadably adjustable spherical gripping members.

摘要： Apparatuses and methods are provided for cutting a traveling web of paper that is being spooled on a full spool and transferring the paper web to spool on an empty spool by driving turn-up tape into a nip between the empty spool and the paper web. The apparatuses and methods provide a more problem free way of transferring a traveling paper web to an empty spool. The apparatuses include a drive and a transfer track for transporting the tape beneath the paper web and delivering the tape into the nip, the transfer track including, a horizontal section having a front end and a back end and a first groove running the length of the horizontal section, the first groove being defined by a first top wall, a first side wall, a first bottom wall, and a first flexible seal such that the turn-up tape travels substantially vertical in the direction of travel underneath the paper web, and a turn-up section connected to the back end of the horizontal section, the turn-up section being curved upwardly from the horizontal section to a position adjacent to the empty spool, and the turn-up section having a second groove running the length of the turn-up section, the second groove being defined by a second top wall, a second side wall, a second bottom wall, and a second flexible seal, the turn-up tape traveling substantially perpendicular to the second bottom wall, whereby the drive is capable of driving the turn-up tape to the end of the transfer track. The methods including rotating an equal angle cam in contact with the turn-up tape to move the tape down the transfer track and into the nip.

Inserts may be provided within the hollow device when cutting asymmetrical patterns to protect the inside diameter wall opposite the waterjet from erosion.
