摘要: A system and method for the measurement of distances related to an object depicted in an image. One aspect including delivery of supplemental materials for fenestration and for constructing insulating materials for fenestration. A digital image containing a primary object dimension and a reference object dimension in substantially the same plane undergoes digital image processing to provide improved measurement capability. Information regarding a primary object is provided to an automated measurement process, design and manufacturing system to provide customized parts to end users. A digital image is obtained having an observable constraint dimension to which a customized part is to conform wherein the digital image contains a reference object having a reference dimension and a constraint dimension is calculated from the digital image based on a reference dimension. The custom part is designed and manufactured based on the calculated constraint dimension.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an effective way of replenishing particulate material for vaporization. This object is achieved by a method for delivering material into a deposition chamber having a vaporization zone to vaporize such material to form a layer. The improvement includes providing a cartridge defining a cavity for receiving material under a controlled environment for preventing material contamination, receiving material from the cavity and translating such received material along a feed path to the vaporization zone and removably securing the cartridge to the deposition chamber.

摘要: A method and apparatus for supplying heat and humidity to gas filled spaces by the addition of water to a dehydrated material that releases heat upon exposure to water, exposing the hydrated material to dry contacting gas which results in loss of water from the hydrated material to the contacting gas, the contacting gas being heated and humidified by such exposure, and subsequent dispersal of the added heat and humidity to the gas filled space. This sequence also results in regeneration of the dehydrated material so that these steps may be repeated. By limiting the amount of water addition to the dehydrated material within a cycle of the process, less time and/or energy is required to regenerate the dehydrated material and finer control of resultant living space humidity may be possible.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for depositing a material on a surface. In accordance with the method a stream of a component material is formed having formed printing and non-printing droplets and satellite droplets of the material. The stream is directed at the surface. A deflecting energy is applied to separate printing droplets from non-printing droplets in the stream, so that only printing droplets travel to the surface. The deflecting energy is adapted to direct non-printing droplets for non-printing drop collection, and to direct at least a portion of the satellite droplets to be controlled in a manner adapted to prevent the material in the satellite droplets from reaching the surface, so that less than all of the material in the satellite droplets reaches the surface. Articles are also provided having limited satellite material.
