摘要: An automatic toilet flushing system which detects when a user sits on the toilet for use and, instead of operating a flush handle for flushing, performs flushing in association with the user's action of standing up to leave the toilet. A forced flushing sensor is also provided so that water can be flowed for flushing through deliberate action of the user.

摘要: An apparatus for examining urine for certain constituents thereof includes a vertically disposed cylinder for receiving urine therein. The cylinder includes a diametrically enlarged upper portion having an inside diameter which is larger than that of its remaining portion. A piston is vertically movably disposed in the cylinder. If the piston is lowered, urine can be stored in the cylinder. If it is raised, the urine is discharged from the cylinder, except that only a small portion thereof remains in a clearance defined between the piston and the diametrically enlarged portion of the cylinder. If the piston is lowered again, a reagent and water are supplied into the cylinder and mixed with the urine remaining therein. An electrode is connected to the cylinder for determining the concentration of sugar, etc. in the urine which has been mixed with the reagent and water. Disclosed also is a toilet stool having a bowl surface in which the upper end of the apparatus is exposed for receiving urine into the cylinder. The toilet stool including the apparatus can be employed to organize a system for collecting information on health. The system includes a first computer provided near the toilet stool for collecting data, such as the concentration of sugar in the urine, and transferring them, and a second computer which may be installed in a hospital for receiving the data from the first computer and storing them progressively.

摘要: A control apparatus for water temperature and water flow rate includes a mixing valve adapted to be supplied with hot water and cold water from a hot water source and a cold water source, respectively, and delivers mixed water. In addition, the control apparatus includes a flow rate controller disposed to a system for delivering the mixed water from the mixing valve to a place where it is required and a controller for operating the mixing valve and the flow rate controller. This controller includes: a switch for discharging water and stopping the discharge of water, a setter for the water flow rate and the water temperature of the mixed water, a standard value memory for storing the standard water temperature and the standard water flow rate of the mixed water, a selected value memory for storing the water temperature and the water flow rate selected by the setter, a timer which is started upon a water stopping operating of the switch, and a signal selection that outputs an operation amount signal based on slected values when the water discharge operation is made before the elapse of a predetermined amount of time after the water stopping operation to the mixing valve and to the flow rate control, and operation amount signals based on the standard values when the water discharging operation is made after the elapse of a predetermined amount of time after the water stopping operation to the mixing valve and the flow rate control.

摘要: A urine detection device is disposed to a urine receiving surface of a toilet stool in which urine, diluting water and reagent are mixed by vertically moving a piston in the cylinder of the detection device, the reaction between them is detected by an electrode and the ingredient in urine is detected. Liquid in the cylinder is stirred by a stirring device to blown air into the reagent reservoir, by which oxygen is dissolved in the reagent. Cleaning liquid is sprayed from the nozzle to the electrode for flushing. An opening is disposed to a supporting wall of the toilet stool, through which the cylinder is detached or attached. The electrode is disposed such that its rear end is directed to the opening and detached or attached through the opening.

摘要: A method of driving an automatic on-off valve for a water passageway uses the automatic on-off valve including an electromagnetic valve for opening and closing the water passageway, a sensor unit for detecting an object such as a man or a human hand and a control unit for controlling supply/cut-off of driving electric power supplied from a power supply to the electromagnetic valve in response to a signal transmitted from the sensor unit. The method comprises the steps of: permitting the control unit to control an operation of the electromagnetic valve in a normal state; manually supplying the electromagnetic valve with the driving power given from a manual driving unit connected to the electromagnetic valve; and thus forcibly driving the electromagnetic valve.
