Abstract:
The present invention relates to a noninvasive medical pulsimeter sensor using magnetic thin films. By forming a pulse-sensing part array with magnetic sensors such as GMR devices, MTJ devices and the likes, over the skin-contacting part which consists of a magnetic material, the present invention increases the integrity of sensors, minimizes the time for searching the pulse and it is applicable widely to portable pulsimeters and the likes.

The present invention relates to a noninvasive medical pulsimeter sensor using a hall device. By forming a pulse-sensing part array with a hall device as a magnetic sensor, over the skin-contacting part which consists of a magnetic material, the present invention increases the integrity of sensors, enables to understand the spatial characteristics of the pulse which cannot be determined by the conventional pressure sensors, minimize the time for searching the pulse, and is applicable widely to portable pulsimeters and the likes.
Abstract:
The description relates to an instruction fetch technology of a processor that processes a plurality of instructions in parallel. The processor exploits the use of a compression code fetched during a previous clock cycle when fetching compressed instructions from a program memory and creating an instruction bundle consisting of a sequence of instructions to be processed in parallel. A compression buffer is interposed between the program memory and an instruction decompression unit, such that a compression code read in a previous clock cycle is ready at the beginning of a decompression cycle of the subsequent instruction bundle thereby avoiding a delay due to memory read latency.
Abstract:
A processor and a computing system include a processor core and a buffer memory to read word data from a memory. The read word data includes first byte data read by the processor core from the memory. The buffer memory also stores the read word data, and determines whether second byte data requested by the processor core is stored in the buffer memory.
Abstract:
A method of sharing a coarse grained array and a processor using the method is provided. A processor includes a first processor core including a plurality of first functional units which execute a first instruction set, a second processor core including a plurality of second functional units which execute a second instruction set, and a coarse grained array including a plurality of third functional units which execute a portion of instructions of the first instruction set and/or the second instruction set, instead of the first processor core and/or the second processor core.
Abstract:
A GIS-based computerized system is provided for maintaining a water supply system having a pipe network and a plurality of measuring sensors. The maintenance system includes a transmitter that receives information from the measuring sensors, and transmits the information, a collector that collects the information transmitted by the transmitter, an information analyzer that analyzes the collected information and decides prescribed status variables for the maintenance system, a storage that stores information provided by the collector and the information analyzer, an alarm device that generates an alarm when the information analyzer decides a leak expectation, a sensor error or an abnormal operation, a pipe network analyzer that analyzes the pipe network base on the collected information. The pipe network analyzer analyzes the information stored by the storage based on a pipe network scheme that is constructed with space data of the water supply system.
