摘要： Provided is a method of limiting updating of firmware by distinguishing between model code that represents a group of hardware having firmware program codes are compatible with each other and model code that identifies each hardware belonging to the group. The method includes generating a data body having firmware program code that is to be updated; generating a data header having model code of hardware to which the data body is to be applied, wherein the hardware model code comprises first model code representing a group of hardware having firmware program codes are compatible with each other and second model code identifying each hardware belonging to the group; and generating a firmware update file by combining the data body and the data header.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of selecting a RTP (Real Time Protocol) element in a dynamic multicast tree for a multimedia conference and a record medium recorded with a program for realizing the method that can be read by computers, and in particular to a method of selecting a RTP element in a dynamic multicast tree for distributing an overload applied to the root node of the dynamic multicast tree and a record medium recorded with a program for realizing the method that can be read by computers. The method comprises the steps of: (a) confirming in the RTP element if the RTP element is subscribed to the dynamic multicast tree that a new multimedia terminal wants to join; (b) if the RTP element is not subscribed to the dynamic multicast that the new multimedia terminal wants to join according to a result of the confirmation in the step (a), joining in the RTP element the root node of the dynamic multicast tree and then causing the new multimedia terminal to join the dynamic multicast tree of a multimedia conference system; and (c) if the RTP element is subscribed to the dynamic multicast that the new multimedia terminal wants to join according to a result of the confirmation in the step (a), causing the new multimedia terminal to join the dynamic multicast tree of the multimedia conference system.

摘要： The invention relates to a content-based image retrieval apparatus and method via relevance feedback by using fuzzy integral and a computer readable record medium storing programs for realizing the apparatus and method. According to the invention, it is provided a content-based image retrieval apparatus and method in which image features are associated by using fuzzy integral and parameters necessary for the fuzzy integral are adjusted in similarity calculations via relevance feedback so as to improve search results. The method comprises the steps of: measuring similarities according to feature between images stored in a database and a new query image; associating the similarities measured according to feature by using the fuzzy integral to measure similarities according to the fuzzy integral; bringing images sequentially in the order of higher similarity according to the finally obtained similarities and transmitting a search result; and recalculating similarities according to feature via relevance feedback about the query result to output converted images.

摘要： Provided are a method of generating a firmware update file which restrictively allows a firmware update for a corresponding hardware model, and a method and apparatus for updating firmware using the firmware update file. By generating a data body including program codes of firmware to be updated, generating a data header including model codes of a hardware device to which the data body is applied, and generating the firmware update file by combining the data body and the data header, the firmware update may be restricted for a corresponding model of a hardware device by using the firmware update file so that firmware of other models of hardware devices may not be updated, an integrity check may be performed using a digital signature when the firmware is updated.
