摘要: A cab chassis vehicle and a method of assembling a cab-chassis vehicle are provided. A chassis is sub-assembled by connecting a mounting bracket for a truck body to a frame rail via a fastener, installing a chassis-side vehicle harness, and installing a chassis-side body wiring harness. A cab is sub-assembled by installing a connector plate to cover an aperture on an outer panel of the cab, installing a cab-side body wiring harness, connecting the cab-side body wiring harness to the connector plate, and installing a cab-side vehicle harness. The cab is assembled to the chassis to provide a cab-chassis vehicle by connecting the chassis-side body wiring harness to the connector plate, connecting the chassis-side vehicle harness to the cab-side vehicle harness.

摘要: A cruise control system for a vehicle having an engine and a power take-off throttle control capable of controlling the speed of the engine includes a cruise control device in communication with a speedometer of the vehicle and the power take-off throttle control. The cruise control device includes a processor configured for receiving a user selection of a set ground speed, determining a current ground speed of the vehicle, via communication with the speedometer, comparing the current ground speed with the set ground speed, and taking further action to maintain the current ground speed close to the set ground speed. The further action taken by the processor may include transmitting an acceleration signal or deceleration signal to the power take-off throttle control to increase or decrease a speed of the engine if the current ground speed is determined to be lower or higher than the set ground speed.

摘要: An air intake assembly for a vehicle includes an air intake configured to intake ambient air and a heater box configured to be positioned adjacent a component of an exhaust assembly of the vehicle. The heater box is configured to intake ambient air and heat the air by heat absorption from the component of the exhaust assembly. The air intake assembly is configured to selectively permit passage of ambient air from the air intake and heated air from the heater box toward the engine assembly. The air intake assembly may selectively permit passage of ambient air and heated air by use of a valve in communication with the air intake and the heater box and further in connection with an engine assembly of the vehicle, the valve configured to selectively permit passage of ambient air from the air intake and heated air from the heater box toward the engine assembly.

摘要: In at least one embodiment, a system including a battery cable and at least one vehicle controller is provided. The battery cable includes a detection shield positioned over an inner conductor. The at least one vehicle controller is programmed to: receive a first signal indicative of current or voltage of the detection shield of the battery cable and to compare the current or voltage to a predetermined value. The at least one vehicle controller is further programmed to generate an alert indicative of warning that the battery cable is exhibiting a failure prior to a short circuit condition occurring at the battery cable in the event the current or voltage is not equal to the predetermined value.

The first motor is configured to generate torque for the vehicle. The second motor is configured to drive an engine of the vehicle such that the vehicle meets a desired speed as set forth by a driver. The controller is configured to drive at least one of the first motor and the second motor and to receive a first signal indicative of a speed of the vehicle. The controller is further configured to deactivate the first motor if the speed of the vehicle is greater than a predetermined speed limit.

A first controller is configured to control a vehicle operation and to detect one or more failures related to the vehicle operation. The first controller is configured to transmit first data indicative of the one or more failures. A vehicle interface controller is configured to receive the first data indicative of the one or more failures on the data communication bus and to receive a signal corresponding to at least one of vehicle speed or park brake status. The vehicle interface controller is further configured to retrieve at least one diagnostic screen and to display the at least one diagnostic screen after the signal indicates the at least one of the vehicle speed being equal to a predetermined vehicle speed or the park brake status indicating that a park brake is set in the vehicle.

摘要: A fuel management module for use with a CNG fuel system for a vehicle includes a housing configured to be connected to the vehicle and a number of connections, receptacles, and controls associated with the module. A defueling receptacle may be positioned on the front panel of the housing, for defueling a fuel tank of the vehicle. A defueling control valve may be positioned on the front panel of the housing for controlling operation of the defueling receptacle, allowing for selective defueling. One or more high pressure connections may be accessible on the housing and configured for connection to one or more separate fuel tanks in a plug and play configuration. A plurality of filling connections may be accessible on the housing for filling the fuel tank(s). A low pressure fuel output connection may be positioned on the back panel of the housing to provide fuel output from the high pressure connections to the engine.
