The polyolefin composition of the present invention comprises 45 to 90 parts by weight of a propylene polymer (A) of 0.5 to 10 dl/g in �.eta.! and at least 100.degree. C. in Tm comprising 100 to 80 mol % of propylene units, 0 to 10 mol % of ethylene units and 0 to 15 mol % of units derived from an .alpha.-olefin having 4 to 12 carbon atoms; 5 to 40 parts by weight of an ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer (B) of 0.5 to 10 dl/g in �.eta.! comprising 70 to 95 mol % of ethylene units and 5 to 30 mol % of units derived from an .alpha.-olefin having 4 to 12 carbon atoms; and 2 to 25 parts by weight of a propylene/.alpha.-olefin/ethylene terpolymer (C) of 0.5 to 10 dl/g in �.eta.! comprising 40 to 77 mol % of propylene units, 20 to 40 mol % of units derived from an .alpha.-olefin having 4 to 12 carbon atoms and 2 to 20 mol % of ethylene units, provided that the total of components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by weight. This polyolefin composition is excellent in flexibility, transparency, mechanical strength and heat resistance, and these properties are not seriously deteriorated even when the composition is exposed to high temperatures. The polyolefin composition can suitably be used for packaging articles, especially, medical blown bottles which are excellent in mechanical strength, flexibility and transparency and which are sterilized at high temperatures (e.g., 100.degree. C. or higher).

The invention provides catalysts which have a high polymerization activity, enable the obtaining of olefin polymers of wide molecular weight distribution, and which comprise (a)(a-1) a metallocene compound or (a-2) a titanium catalyst component containing magnesium, titanium, and halogen, (b) a compound of a transition metal from Groups 8 to 10 of the periodic table and is of the general formula shown below, and a cocatalyst component. ##STR1## The invention also provides olefin polymer compositions excellent in rigidity and impact resistance which can be produced using a catalyst comprising the transition metal compound (b) and which comprises a non-crystalline olefin polymer having a specific intrinsic viscosity, glass transition temperature and density, and another known olefin polymer.

A rubber composition for fuel cell seals, HDD top cover gaskets or cable connector seals is disclosed. The rubber composition comprises a specific ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene copolymer [A], a specific organopolysiloxane [B] and an SiH group-containing compound [C], with the weight ratio of [A]:[B] being 100:0 to 5:95. A fuel cell sealing material, HDD top cover gasket material, cable connector sealing material, fuel cell seal, HDD top cover gasket and cable connector seal according to the present invention comprise the composition. A fuel cell according to the present invention includes the fuel cell seal. A hard disk drive of the present invention includes the gasket. An automotive cable connector according to the present invention is sealed by the composition. The invention provides a crosslinkable rubber composition that has good high-speed moldability and can give fuel cell seals excellent in resistances to heat, acids and gas permeation. Further provided are a fuel cell seal from the composition, a fuel cell sealing material comprising the composition, and a fuel cell including the seal. The present invention also provides a crosslinkable rubber composition that has good high-speed moldability and can give HDD top cover gaskets having low hardness and being excellent in heat resistance, compression set resistance and long-term sealing properties. Further provided are a gasket from the composition, a HDD top cover gasket material comprising the composition, and a hard disk drive including the gasket. The present invention also provides a crosslinkable rubber composition that has excellent sealing properties and insertion properties with respect to cables without oil bleeding. Further provided are a cable connector seal from the composition, a cable connector sealing material comprising the composition, and an automotive cable connector including the seal.

Disclosed is an ethylene copolymer composition having a density of 0.980 to 0.955 g/cm.sup.3 and a melt flow rate (MFR) of 0.1 to 100 g/10 min., which is formed from two kinds of ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymers having specific properties and having density and MFR different from each other. The ethylene copolymer composition of the invention is excellent in melt tension and flow index within the high-shear-region, and able to form films of high transparency, high mechanical strength and blocking resistance.
