    摘要: Disclosed is a piano sound source apparatus for adding a piano sound source providing a plurality of sinusoidal oscillation frequencies and a noise source providing a plurality of noise oscillation frequencies to output a composite tone. The apparatus includes an oscillation control unit that controls the frequency and amplitude of each of sine waves corresponding to the sinusoidal oscillation frequencies on the basis of time, an amplitude control unit that controls the amplitude of each of the sine waves corresponding to the sinusoidal oscillation frequencies in accordance with the intensity of the composite tone, and a mixing-proportion control unit that controls the amplitude of each of the noise oscillation frequencies in accordance with the intensity of the composite tone to control the mixing proportion of the amplitudes of the noise oscillation frequencies and those of the sine waves corresponding to the sinusoidal oscillation frequencies.

    摘要: An improved copper base alloy having excellent thermal resistance and electric conductivity. The alloy consists essentially of from 0.0005 to 0.01 percent boron, a material selected from the group consisting of phosphorus from 0.001 to 0.01 percent, indium from 0.002 to 0.03 percent, tellurium from 0.001 to 0.06 percent and mixtures thereof, and the balance copper and inevitable impurities. The copper base alloy may further contain from 0.002 to 0.05 percent magnesium whereby the magnesium imparts further enhanced thermal resistance to the alloy.

    摘要: Facsimile apparatus stores, in a memory, a telephone number for connecting to a server of an Internet facsimile transmission service company. The facsimile apparatus transmits facsimile signals via the Internet, a registration number of a user of the service company, a facsimile number of the destination, and a protocol for connecting to the service company. Connection to a server of the service company is established by pressing a button and further processing for connection with the Internet is executed. The server of the service company converts the image information of the facsimile signals as received from the facsimile apparatus into image data of its own format appropriate for Internet transfer, selects a second server which is located close to the destination based on the destination facsimile number, and transfers the data via the Internet. The second server reconverts the image data into a format conforming to the destination facsimile, connects to the destination facsimile, and transmits the data.

    摘要: Data read out from a disk storage device by a read thread is stored into a ring buffer on a predetermined unit basis. This process is independently controlled every element. The data is read out from the buffer by an output thread in accordance with a predetermined order and is outputted as a stream. Each element includes the disk storage device, the read thread, and the ring buffer, and is periodically checked by the thread and a flag is set to an element in which a using ratio of the buffer is equal to or less than a predetermined value. When the flag has been set to the other elements and the using ratio of the buffer of the initially set element is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, each thread pauses the reading operation of the data from the disk. The absorption of a fluctuation in the disk and the distribution of the ability according to a load are executed by the buffer and the flag so that the moving image bit stream can be stably outputted.
