Chlorinated polyethylene rubber and/or its derivative reformed with maleic anhydride is blended with specified amounts of a 2-mercaptobenzothiazole dicyclohexylamine salt, trithiocyanuric acid and sufur such that formulae (1) and (2) are met ##EQU1## where phr is defined as the amount in parts of the component per hundred parts of component (A) or component (B) or both.

    摘要: A process for producing hoses of laminated construction having a plastic inner tube is disclosed which comprises:- (a) extruding a thermoplastic resin on a mandrel to form an inner tube with a predetermined thickness, the mandrel being preformed of a thermoplastic resin or rubber and releasable from the inner tube, (b) laminating an outer tube integrally on the inner tube by extrusion of an unvulcanized rubber to form an integral hose body, (c) vulcanizing the hose body, (d) removing the mandrel from the vulcanized hose body. This hose is characterized by high resistance to load of impulse.

Improved bondability is attributed to the use of a selected base rubber blended with a selected class of inorganic or organic fillers, silane compounds and vulcanizing agents such that the finished composition is provided with a specified range of Mooney viscosities. Also disclosed is a method of hose-metal fitting connection by the application of the composition. Gas- and oil-impermeability characteristics are greatly enhanced.

    摘要: Rubber compositions are disclosed which are characterized by enhanced adhesion to hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubbers and to metallic and fibrous materials, and also be improved modulus at 100% elongation, and hence are suitable particularly for use in tires, belts, molded articles, rubber rolls and hoses. Such physical characteristics are obtained by the use of specified amounts of a selected class of sulfurs, organic peroxides and triazine compounds combined with selected sulfur-curable base rubbers.

    摘要: Hoses for transporting or otherwise handling refrigerant and oil fluids are disclosed which are comprised of an inner tube, an outer cover and a reinforcing layer interposed therebetween. The inner tube includes at least two walls, one being an inner resinous wall and the other being an outer rubbery wall having specified moduli at 100%. The outer cover is formed by a selected class of rubbers having a higher modulus at 100% than the outer wall of the inner tube. The resulting hose is securely interconnectable with metal fittings, highly impermeable to gaseous and oily fluids, sufficiently resistant to stress cracking and adequately flexible.
