The invention relates to a method and a communications arrangement for operating a communications connection between a communications terminal device (KE1) associated with a first participant and at least one first terminal device (KE2) associated with a second participant. For a process running on a second terminal device (RE1) integrating with a first communications terminal device (KE1) to be operated by the first participant, said process being free of functions for controlling the communications connection, at least one piece of information that is reproducible on a terminal device is extracted from a process-produced output (P1) to the second terminal device (RE1). Further, upon initiation of the communications connection between the communications terminal device (KE1) and the first terminal device (KE2), the reproducible information is transmitted to at one of the least one terminal devices (KE2, RE2) associated with the second participant.

Data characterizing the presence state of a user registered to use a communication service is sent to a server for the management of presence data in order to provide presence data allocated to the user of a communication service. The data sent to the server is stored as presence data allocated to the user and is made available for predefinable first users. The user is provided with presence data allocated to predefinable second users. The predefinable first and second users are determined by means of an activated service profile allocated to the user.

A method for operating a communication connection between a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal including a coupling to a data processing system and communication system that may implement such a method include a first computing unit interacting with said first communication terminal and displaying a first document. At least one first piece of user-identifying address information is assigned to the first document and a second piece of user-identifying address information is assigned to a second computing unit interacting with said second communication terminal. A second is displayed on said second computing unit if the first piece of user-identifying address information corresponds with said second piece of user-identifying address information.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for automatically configuring an application after downloading the same via a website. An example of an area of application of the present invention is enterprise web applications that are installed on a server in a customer network. The proposed “one-touch configuration” method simplifies the initial configuration of the application to be installed, and makes manual entries after installation unnecessary. The method according to the invention is further applicable to obtaining applications from the Internet, wherein a customer has an account with a provider. The customer logs in using the customer login thereof at the website of the company. The company is aware of which applications the customer has purchased, by means of the customer account information, and can proved corresponding supplementary downloads, including a licensing key. The licensing key can then be transmitted to the installed application in a simple manner using the method presented.

An electronic control device for a modular valve range, which has a fluid manifold arrangement fitted with electrically controlled valves. The valves are controlled via at least one control module. Furthermore input and/or output modules and a central electronic control unit are provided, with which the individual modules are connected for control and/or data communication. The control unit is connected with the modules via a bus line system and each module possesses a programmed address decoder, means being provided for sequential configuration of the modules and for the automatic assignment of individual addresses for the individual modules. Accordingly the valve range may be designed and expanded just as may be desired, the connected modules automatically being recognized and provided with addresses.

A valve range is suggested suitable for use in connection with the control of fluid operated equipment. It possesses a fluid manifold, which is able to be fitted with pneumatic valves, which are operated via a signal manifold electrically. The valve range is so designed that it is suitable for the combined operation or control both of pneumatic valves and also of hydraulic valves. For the control of hydraulic valves it is provided with at least one control connection, from which the respective control signals may be taken. It is in this manner that, starting with a central valve range both pneumatic and also hydraulic valves may be operated and controlled in a comparatively simple fashion.

The invention relates to a method for providing communication, comprising a plurality of communication subscribers, comprising at least one first piece of address information associated with a first communication subscriber, a second and at least one third piece of address information associated with at least a second communication subscriber and a fourth piece of address information associated with a central control function, wherein in the event of a failure of a first connection attempt made to a second communication subscriber by a communication subscriber determined by the first piece of address information while using the second piece of address information, during a second attempt at a connection following the failure by the first communication subscriber determined by the first piece of address information to the central control function determined by the fourth piece of address information, the control function initiates the forwarding of the second connection to the second communication subscriber while using the third piece of address information. The invention further relates to a communication system for carrying out the method.

The conference system (KS) comprises at least two mobile terminals (M1, M2, M3) with a respective signalling apparatus which contains a sensor which detects motion by the signalling apparatus and outputs a corresponding motion signal. In addition, it contains a motion signal processing apparatus which associates the motion signal from a gesture in nonverbal interhuman communication with a motion signal pattern and, as a result of an association having been made, produces an output signal with a corresponding piece of information about the type of detected gesture in the nonverbal interhuman communication. Furthermore, the conference system (KS) contains a transmission apparatus for supplying the output signal to a transmission channel (F1, F2, F3) which is respectively connected to a local area network (LAN). The latter has a telephone, preferably an IP telephone (11), for a moderator and also a screen (U1) for conference control connected to it. Furthermore, an associated signalling method is proposed.
