    摘要: The invention is directed to a film which comprises a poly(carboxylic acid) polymer and a polyvalent metal compound, which is endowed with excellent gas barrier property against, for example oxygen, which has such resistance that the appearance, shape, and gas-barrier properties are not impaired by neutral water, high-temperature water vapor, or hot water; a laminate produced by use of the film; and a process for producing the film or laminate industrially conveniently at low cost. The film or laminate of the present invention is suitable for use as a package, packaging container, or vacuum insulation material for articles which are apt to be deteriorated by oxygen, etc., such as foods, beverages, chemicals, medicines, and metallic precision parts; e.g., electronic parts. Furthermore, there can be provided a packaging material suitable for use with articles which are required to be reliably insulated from gases for prolonged periods and should be treated under high-temperature, hot-water conditions as in boiling or pressurized high-temperature sterilization.

    摘要: The present invention provides a gas-barrier film which is produced through applying a layer containing a metallic compound to a surface of a processed-polymer layer produced from a mixture of a polyalcohol and at least one poly(meth)acrylic polymer selected from the group consisting of poly(meth)acrylic acids and partially neutralized poly(meth)acrylic acids. The invention also provides a laminated gas-barrier film containing the aforementioned gas-barrier film either surface of which is laminated on with a plastic film. The gas-barrier film exhibits excellent gas-barrier properties and can be produced through a simple, convenient process.

    摘要: A gas barrier laminate having a laminated structure of at least two layers includes a gas barrier film (A) formed from a mixture containing polyvinyl alcohol and poly(meth)acrylic acid or a partially neutralized product thereof in a weight ratio ranging from 95:5 to 10:90, and having an oxygen permeability constant of 1.25.times.10.sup.-3 ml(STP).multidot.cm/m.sup.2 .multidot.h.multidot.atm{Pa} or smaller as measured under conditions of 30.degree. C. and 80% relative humidity, and a layer (B) formed from a thermoplastic resin. The film (A) and layer (B) are laminated contiguously to each other. A process for the production of a gas barrier laminate having a laminated structure of at least two layers comprises a step of forming a gas barrier film (A) having an oxygen permeability constant of 1.25.times.10.sup.-3 ml(STP).multidot.cm/m.sup.2 .multidot.h.multidot.atm{Pa} or smaller as measured under conditions of 30.degree. C. and 80% relative humidity, wherein a solution containing polyvinyl alcohol and poly(meth)acrylic acid or a partially neutralized product thereof in a weight ratio ranging from 95:5 to 10:90 is cast on a layer (B) formed from a thermoplastic resin, the solution cast is dried to form a film, and the dry film is then subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature of at least 100.degree. C. (373 K). The gas barrier film (A) and the layer (B) are contiguous to each other.
