    摘要: A method of manufacturing a ceramic body having continuous three-dimension through-out holes which can be preferably employed as a filter for filtration of non-metallic inclusions in a molten metal and as a porous plug for introducing a gaseous medium for floating up the non-metallic inclusions. An organic body having a three-dimensional construction is placed in a casting mold, a slip of a ceramic material is poured into the mold, and after drying, the molded body is baked to effect decomposition of the organic porous body. Thus the ceramic body is provided with through-out holes communicating with to each other three-dimensionally together with a high mechanical strength.

    摘要: A ceramic coating bonded to an iron tubular member comprising a bonding layer formed on a surface of the iron tubular member by a reaction of an iron tubular oxide layer of the iron tubular member and a silicate; and an iron oxide diffusion-preventing layer produced from fine metal oxide particles or an organometallic binder by firing on a surface of the bonding layer. The ceramic coating may further comprises an oxidation-preventing layer, a heat-insulating layer, a refractory layer or a thin dense protective layer. It may be produced by coating the surface of the iron tubular member with a silicate binder to form a layer which is then converted to a bonding layer by a heat treatment in a steam atmosphere; coating the surface of the bonding layer with fine metal oxide particles or an organometallic binder to form an iron oxide diffusion-preventing layer; and after curing and drying firing the resulting ceramic coating in an atmosphere having an oxygen partial pressure of 10 mmHg or less.

    摘要: The present invention provides a rear wheel steering system for a vehicle comprising a controller to which driving information is supplied, and a rear wheel steering mechanism driven through a reduction mechanism by a DC electric motor which is rotationally controlled by the controller. The rotational amount of the motor is detected by a motor rotation sensor, and the motor can be stopped by an electromagnetic brake. For accurately stopping the motor at a target rotational position corresponding to a target pivotal angle for the rear wheels, the controller first interrupts the drive current to the motor when the detected rotational amount reaches a first value short of the target rotational position, and then actuates the brake when the detected rotational amount reaches a second value immediately short of the target rotational position.

    摘要: A steering mechanism for vehicle rear wheels comprises an input shaft rotated in response to rotation of a vehicle steering wheel. A cam member is connected to the input shaft for rotation therewith. The cam member is interposed between a pair of cam followers spaced widthwise of the vehicle and held by a follower support which is linearly movable widthwise of the vehicle when the input shaft is rotated. Such movement of the follower support is transmitted to a knuckle arm of each rear wheel by means of a tie member, whereby the orientation of the rear wheel is controlled in dependence upon front wheel steering by suitably selecting a cam profile for the cam member.
