    摘要: A head actuator has two of arms that extend from a bearing assembly, and a relay FPC is fixed to each arm. The relay FPC extends from a head to the proximal end portion of the arm. The relay FPC includes a connecting portion located on the proximal end portion of the corresponding arm and has a first contact each. The connecting portions are opposed to each other across a space and form a female connector. A male connector attached to a main FPC has a projection detachably fitted in the female connector and second contacts provided on the projection and connected to the main FPC. As the projection of the male connector is fitted between the connecting portions of the female connector, the first and second contacts are pressed against each other, whereupon the relay FPC and the main FPC are connected electrically to each other.

    摘要: On each arm of a head actuator is provided a relay PFC that extends from a magnetic head to the proximal end portion of the arm. Each relay FPC includes a connecting portion having a first contact, a short-circuit contacts and a short-circuit piece that constitutes a closed loop. The connecting portions are opposed to each other and form a female connector. A male connector attached to a main FPC has a projection detachably fitted in the female connector, second contacts provided on the projection and connected to the main FPC, and a pressing projection that presses the short-circuit piece and release the closed loop. As the projection of the male connector is fitted between the connecting portions of the female connector, the first and second contacts come into contact with each other, whereupon the relay FPC and the main FPC are connected electrically to each other.

    摘要: A RFID tag is partially separable from an article to which the tag is applied such that influence on the RFID tag from the article may be reduced thereby. A label is applied to an article, wherein the label is tacked on a backing paper. The label is fixed with a tag-fixed portion fixed with a RFID tag comprising an IC chip and a communication antenna. The tag-fixed portion has a predetermined size and is partitioned from a common label portion. The common label portion is partitioned into a first label portion that is articulated with the tag-fixed portion and a second label portion, from which the tag-fixed portion is separable along a partition line extending across the common label portion from a side of the tag-fixed portion. The method comprises associating the first label portion of the common label portion with a first surface of the article such that the partition line of the label follows a corner line of a corner portion of the article, and applying the label to the article such that the tag-fixed portion articulated with the first label portion is raised from the article.

    摘要: A label affixing apparatus enables an RFID tag to be affixed to a product at a distance from the product. The apparatus comprises: a folding/affixing device which conveys a label, a label holder holds a front surface side of the label, a folding device causes a part of the label including a tag attachment site to project by folding the part from a rear surface side to the front surface side into an angular shape. Either traction is suppressed when the label is affixed to the product. A reader/writer has an antenna in a position facing the part of the label when the part of the label is folded, for reading and writing information from and to the RFID tag. A fold detector detects if the label is folded. The label holding device moves between a label suction position and a label affixing position. Folding is assisted from a rear surface side of the part of the label.

    摘要: A head actuator of a disk device has a support frame formed of metal. A voice coil of a voice coil motor has a winding central axis that extends substantially parallel to a rotation axis of the head actuator. An outer peripheral portion of the voice coil has opposite outer peripheral portions opposed to the support frame and an exposed outer peripheral portion situated on the outermost periphery with respect to the bearing portion. The voice coil is fixed to the support frame with a resin molded between the support frame and the opposite outer peripheral portions. A lead wire of the voice coil is covered by a molded resin and fixed in a predetermined position on the head actuator. Annular upper and lower surfaces and the exposed outer peripheral portion of the voice coil are exposed to the outside without being covered with the resin.

    摘要: A process for producing isophthalic acid by oxidation of m-xylene with an oxygen-containing gas in a hydrous acetic acid solvent in the presence of a cobalt/manganese/bromine system catalyst, the process being capable of industrially advantageously producing high-purity isophthalic acid having excellent whiteness, the process comprising (1) a step of carrying out an oxidation reaction in a main oxidation reactor under specified ranges of a catalyst concentration, a reaction temperature and an oxygen concentration in a discharge gas such that the concentration of 3-carboxybenzaldehyde becomes 500 to 10,000 ppm, (2) a step of further carrying out an oxidation reaction in a post oxidation reactor such that the concentration of 3-carboxybenzaldehyde becomes 100 to 800 ppm, separating crude isophthalic acid, evaporating remaining mother liquor and recovering acetic acid, and (3) mixing the crude isophthalic acid with purified acetic acid, stirring the resultant mixture at 100.degree. C. or higher, and separating purified isophthalic acid.

    摘要: A leukocyte measurement device is provided with a spread inspection window at a position separated from an opening part along a spreading direction of a blood-derived sample in a carrier, for making the carrier visible from outside. When the blood-derived sample is dropped from the opening part, leukocytes contained in the blood-derived sample are captured by the carrier in the vicinity of a dropping position, while erythrocytes and/or hemoglobin and the like spread through the carrier from the dropping position into a predetermined direction. Therefore, in the leukocyte measurement device, seeing through the spread inspection window the color of the erythrocytes and/or hemoglobin spread from the dropping position can determine whether it has already been used or not, whereby a simple structure can prevent measurers from erroneously reusing it.
