Abstract:
A bicycle control device includes a base member, an operating member, a detecting member and a switching member. The operating member is movably mounted relative to the base member along an operating path. The detecting member detects operation of the operating member. The switching member is electrically connected to the detecting member so that the detecting member is switched from a power-off state to a power-on state in response to operation of the operating member.
Abstract:
A bicycle brake and shift operating device is basically provided with a base member, a brake lever and a first shift switch. The base member includes a grip portion and a mounting portion. The mounting portion is configured to be mounted to a bicycle handlebar, The brake lever is pivotally connected to the base member at a pivot axis. The brake lever includes an inward facing surface and an outward facing surface. The first shift switch includes a first operating portion arranged along the inward facing surface of the brake lever. The first shift switch is arranged to electrically control a shifting device.
Abstract:
A bicycle hydraulic brake actuation device includes a hydraulic master cylinder housing having a bore, a lever, a master piston and an adjuster. The lever is pivotally coupled to the hydraulic master cylinder housing for movement between an at rest position and a brake engagement position. The master piston is disposed within the bore and having an adjustment end. The adjuster is operably disposed between the adjustment end of the master piston and a portion of the lever. The adjuster is movable between a plurality of adjustment positions relative to the adjustment end such that with the lever in the at rest position, movement of the adjuster between the plurality of adjustment positions moves the master piston between a corresponding plurality of adjustment positions along an axial length of the bore.
Abstract:
A hydraulic connector arrangement includes a shaft member, a banjo fitting, a pair of sealing members and a banjo fixing member. The shaft member has a hydraulic passageway and an opening that extends from the hydraulic passageway to an outer surface of the shaft member. The banjo fitting rotatably extends around the shaft member covering the opening. The pair of sealing members are disposed between the shaft member and the banjo member and on opposite sides of the opening. The banjo fixing member is coupled to the shaft member to retain the banjo fitting to the shaft member. Further, the banjo fixing member is dimensioned to allow rotation of the banjo relative to the shaft member and the banjo fixing member.
Abstract:
An apparatus for a bicycle brake comprises a housing with a first piston bore, a first piston disposed in the first piston bore, and a first piston rod fixedly attached to the first piston and extending from the first piston toward the outside of the housing. The first piston rod includes a first brake arm coupling portion for coupling to a first brake arm, and an adjustment mechanism adjusts a distance of the first brake arm coupling portion relative to the piston.
Abstract:
A bicycle front derailleur includes a chain guide that is provided with a pushing element that is movable relative to the chain guide to assist in shifting a bicycle chain from a smaller front sprocket to an adjacent larger sprocket. The chain guide is part of a movable member that is movably coupled to a base member via a linkage assembly. The pushing element is rotatably coupled to the chain guide portion and activated by a chain to move relative to the inner chain guide member from a first position with the pushing element at rest to a second position in response to activation by the chain. The contact surface moves laterally outwardly into the chain receiving slot toward the outer chain guide member as the pushing element moves from the first position to the second position.
Abstract:
A bicycle control device is basically provided with a bracket member, a brake lever and a non-shifting control switch. The bracket member has a handlebar mounting part and a main body with an upper surface, a pair of side surfaces and a lower surface, the main body being configured to form a gripping part. The brake lever is pivotally coupled to the main body of the bracket member at a coupling point such that the brake lever extends from the coupling point in a direction opposite of the upper surface with a majority of the brake lever being disposed below the handlebar mounting part. The non-shifting control switch is disposed on the main body of the bracket member in an area of the upper surface of the main body.
Abstract:
A bicycle handlebar assembly is provided with a handlebar, a first gearshift operating part and a second gearshift operating part. The handlebar includes a central portion, a first end portion on a first lateral side of the central portion and a second end portion on a second lateral side of the central portion. The first gearshift operating part is attached to the first end portion of the handlebar with the first gearshift operating part being arranged to electrically control a front derailleur to selectively perform a first gearshift operation. The second gearshift operating part is attached to the first end portion of the handlebar with the second gearshift operating part being arranged to electrically control a rear derailleur to selectively perform a second gearshift operation.

A bicycle control device includes a base member, an operating member and a force sensor. The operating member is movably mounted relative to the base member from a rest position along an operating path. The force sensor is operated by physical contact by movement of the operating member along the operating path. The force sensor is configured to output at least one control signal based upon an operation force of the operating member acting on the force sensor.
