    摘要: Provided is a sheet switch suitable as a sensing mechanism to sense the removal of a subordinate device from a host device. Specifically, the sheet switch is provided with a contact electrode formed in a dome shape with a conductive metal, a counter electrode disposed facing the contact electrode, and a metal sheet made of metal that is disposed on the opposite side of the counter electrode from the side facing the contact electrode with insulating members interposed therebetween. The sheet switch becomes conductive when the contact electrode and the counter electrode touch.

A card reader is provided with a main body frame constituting a card passage through which an inserted card passes, and a light source for illuminating the interior of the card passage. With this card reader, the light source is illuminating the interior of the card passage through which the card passes, and therefore, it is possible to brighten the interior of the card passage through which the card passes. Therefore, it is possible to brighten the location into which the card is actually inserted so that it is easier to visually confirm the location into which the card is actually inserted.

    摘要: A tamper detection mechanism for detecting tampering when a sub system is removed from a host device may include a screw member that may include a head portion, a major diameter shaft portion and a minor diameter shaft portion. The tamper detection mechanism may also include a through hole provided in the sub system, a lever member, and a detection switch. The lever member may withdraw from said through hole as it is pushed by the major diameter shaft portion when the screw member is tightly screwed, and may advance into the through hole when the screw member is loosened. The detection switch may detect whether the screw member is tightly screwed or loosened based on withdrawal or advancement of the lever member.
