Further, the vane pump includes working compartments surrounded by inner surfaces of the rotor chamber, an outer peripheral surface of the rotor and the vanes, the working compartments being adapted to undergo a volume change as the rotor is rotatably driven; an inlet port through which a working fluid is drawn into a working compartment whose volume is being increased; and an outlet port through which the working fluid is discharged from a working compartment whose volume is being decreased; and one or more blade base members protruded from portions on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor between the vanes adjacent to each other.

    摘要： A power unit includes an engine portion and a transmission portion. The bottom portion of a crankcase of the power unit is formed into a shape, in which the right and left sides thereof are tilted downwardly toward a central portion. A main shaft, a counter shaft, and an output shaft of a transmission chamber are disposed one above the other on a right side of a crankshaft. An oil tank is disposed on a right side of the transmission. A bulkhead divides the transmission chamber from the oil tank. The oil tank is formed into an approximately crescent shape with its lower end extending under the output shaft. A suction port of a feed pump is provided in the lowest portion of the crescent shaped oil tank. An oil inlet is provided directly over the oil tank. An overflow hole for allowing oil to overflow into a transmission chamber is provided in the bulkhead. An oil pump is provided in the crank case on the left side of the crank shaft. A scavenging pump pumps up oil from an oil sump located at the lowest portion of the bottom of the crank case. A drain hole, provided in a lower portion of the crank case, communicates to both the oil tank and the transmission chamber. The drain hole is plugged with a drain bolt.

    摘要： To provide an apparatus for feeding secondary air to exhaust gas in an engine. The apparatus includes a cylinder head having an exhaust port for discharging exhaust gas from a combustion chamber and a secondary air feed passage for feeding secondary air to exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust port. The apparatus is capable of making a length of the secondary air feed passage as short as possible while preventing the permeation of exhaust gas into the secondary air feed passage. This avoids the enlargement of the entire engine, when disposing a reed valve in the engine, since the reed valve is mounted to the cylinder block. A secondary air passage includes a first passage portion extending in a straight line with one end opened toward the inner surface of an exhaust port, toward the downstream side of exhaust gas in the flowing direction. A second passage portion continuous with the first passage portion has a straight axial line bent from the axial line of the first passage portion towards the cylinder block side. Furthermore, a reed valve connected to the secondary air feed passage is mounted to the outer surface of the cylinder block.
