    摘要: In a cathode ray tube in which an electron gun directs one or more electron beams against a phosphor screen through an electron focusing lens, preferably of the unipotential type, constituted by a plurality of tubular electrodes arranged coaxially in succession along the tube axis with a relatively low potential being applied to one of the electrodes and a relatively high potential being applied to the other electrodes, and in which each electron beam is deflected, after passing through the focusing lens, so as to scan the screen in line-scanning and vertical directions; distortion of the landing spot of each beam on the screen, particularly when deflected toward the peripheral portions of the screen, is removed or compensated by forming the tubular electrode which is maintained at the relatively low potential of two axially divided tubular electrode portions having respective end plates or walls extending across their adjacent ends and formed with aligned apertures for the passage through the latter of each beam, with a first pair of diametrically opposed flanges projecting from the periphery of one of the apertures in the axial direction toward the other aperture, and a second pair of diametrically opposed flanges projecting from the periphery of such other aperture in the axial direction toward said one aperture and being orthogonally disposed in relation to said first pair of flanges so as to be interfitted between the latter, so that the application across the two electrode portions of a correction voltage which varies with the angle of deflection of each said beam from the tube axis is effective to provide a varying electric field for obtaining a uniform shape of the landing spot of each beam on all portions of the screen.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are adhesive compositions for use in cathode ray tubes comprising a specified epoxy (meth)acrylate, hydroxyl-containing mono (meth)acrylate, a photopolymerization initiator and optionally an urethane (meth)acrylate, the cured products thereof as well as cathode ray tubes obtained by the use thereof. The adhesive compositions of the present invention are excellent in spreadability and the resulting cured products have a good adhesion to glass. Cathode ray tubes in which a sheet of film is bonded to panel-glass by using an adhesive of the present invention exhibit satisfactory screen states comparable to those exhibited by cathode ray tubes subjected to a polishing process.

    摘要: A cathode ray tube including a color selecting, electrode having a plurality of metal tapes; a rectangular frame for holding the color selecting electrode under tension; a plate spring having one end fixed to the frame and the other end having an engaging hole; and a panel having a pin for engaging the engaging hole of the plate spring, the panel being held to the frame by the plate spring; wherein a resonance frequency of the plate spring is different from a resonance frequency of the metal tapes. Since the resonance frequency of the plate spring is different from the resonance frequency of the metal tapes, possible resonance of the metal tapes with a large amplitude by the vibrations of the plate spring due to external vibrations applied to the cathode ray tube can be prevented. Therefore, even though the color selecting electrode has a fine pitch with a large screen and a high definition, the cathode ray tube has vibration resistance to prevent color deviation or the like due to the vibrations.
