摘要： The semantics of a relational database may be modeled using an entity-relationship (ER) diagram that represents entities and the relations between the entities. Systems and methods are provided for automatically composing meaningful thumbnails/composited images or visuals from ER diagrams and their associated databases by using the semantics of the underlying data model. First, the most meaningful relations in which a given data element participates are extracted. Second, composited images are composed depicting these relations using a domain-specific visual language and rendering techniques based on the relative weighting of the relations.

According to the present invention, rich media content is encapsulated in RTP packets based upon the payload format at the sender. With the present invention, an efficient framework is provided for satisfying several use cases or scenarios that involve rich media transmission.

The processor may be configured to analyze at least two different datasets in which each dataset includes entities with respective attributes corresponding to each of the entities, determine a set of correlations between entities in which at least one correlation determined includes a correlation between entities in different datasets, and filter the set of correlations to produce a focused set of correlations based on selecting correlations among the set of correlations that correspond to selection criteria for inclusion in the focused set of correlations. The set of correlations may be determined based at least in part on the respective attributes corresponding to each of the entities.
