摘要: A system for and method of antimicrobial susceptibility testing includes detecting a resonance peak of a sensor provided with live microbes on a surface thereof; applying a substance to the live microbes; detecting a resonance peak of said sensor after application of said substance; determining a width of a top of each of said resonance peaks before and after application of the substance from one of: (1) a phase angle versus frequency plot where the phase angle is the phase angle of the electrical impedance of said sensor. (2) a real part of a plot of an electrical impedance versus frequency of said sensor. (3) a plot of a magnitude of electrical impedance versus frequency of said sensor, and (4) a phase angle versus frequency plot where the phase angle is the phase angle between an output voltage and an input voltage of said sensor, and comparing the determined widths of tops of said resonance peaks or standard deviations of the frequency of said resonance peaks to determine antimicrobial susceptibility including the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC).

摘要: A method of preparing a crystalline STT-type zeolite that has a mole ratio greater than about 15:1 of a tetravalent element oxide to a trivalent element oxide is disclosed along with a gas treatment system that incorporates the STT-type zeolite and a process for treating a gas using the STT-type zeolite. 摘要: A catalyst support material and a catalyst system incorporating said support material along with a method of making the same is provided for use in applications in which the support material is exposed to sulfur-containing impurities. The catalyst support material generally comprises an inorganic oxide base material having a surface and pores of predetermined size; and a zirconium layer adapted to interact with the surface and sized to be received by the pores of the base material. The catalyst support material being prepared by applying a layer of a zirconium compound to the surface and pores of an inorganic oxide base material followed by calcination in order to convert the zirconium compound to a metal, a metal oxide, or a mixture thereof.

摘要: Disclosed in the present invention are a method of electricity leakage detection and prevention of electrical equipment's outer surface and system thereof. The method and system are used for detecting and preventing electricity leakage of the electrical equipment's outer surface caused by defective insulation and power supply connection faults. Without in touch with the electrical equipment's outer surface, the electricity leakage of the outer surface can be detected and the connection between the electrical equipment and the power supply can be cut and an alarm is made by means of the current channel (2) formed between the electrical equipment neutral line (N′) and the electrical equipment's outer surface (G′) and the monitoring of the current value. A power supply channel (5) is set up to make sure that the electrical equipment can be normally operated via the system even in the condition of the power supply connection faults. According to the method and system, the electricity leakage of the outer surface can be correctly detected and the alarm can be made or the connection between the electrical equipment and the power supply can be cut even if the electrical equipment's outer surface is not grounded. With the advantage of simple construction and low cost, the system can be widely used.
