摘要: A method of forming a device is presented. A substrate prepared with an active device region is provided. The active device region includes gate stack layers of a gate stack that includes at least a gate electrode layer over a gate dielectric layer. An implant mask is formed on the substrate with an opening exposing a portion of a top gate stack layers. Ions are implanted through the opening and gate stack layers into the substrate to form a channel well. The substrate is patterned to at least remove portion of a top gate stack layer unprotected by the implant mask.

摘要: A method and a system for instantly translating text within an image are provided. The method and the system are suitable for using a service end device to translate text within the image captured by a portable communication device. First, the image is captured by the portable communication device, and then transmitted to the service end device through a communication network. Next, the text within the image is recognized and translated into translation text by the service end device. The translation text is transmitted back to the portable communication device through the communication network and displayed by the portable communication device. Thereby, a user can take an image at any time and get to know what it means immediately.

摘要: This invention discloses a method of protecting copyright of a digital video work by using a digital password technology and a digital watermark technology to prevent the unauthorized use of a digital video work. Such method adds password protection of two chrominance arrays of such video work in advance, so that when such video work is published on the Internet, it can only be played in color by a specified player. As long as a user enters the correct password into the specified player, a full color visual effect of such video work can be obtained. If other players are used to play such video work, only a partial gray-scale visual effect can be obtained. Users must request or buy a specific player and a password from the distributor of such video work to play the complete information to prevent piracy.

摘要: A Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (MOS) device is disclosed. The MOS device includes a substrate, a well region formed in the substrate, and a gate located on the substrate. The MOS device also includes a first lightly-doped region arranged in the well region at a first side of the gate and overlapping with the gate, and a second lightly-doped region arranged in the well region at a second side of the gate and overlapping with the gate. Further, the MOS device includes a first heavily-doped region formed in the first lightly-doped region, and a second heavily-doped region formed in the second lightly-doped region. The MOS device also includes a first high-low-voltage gate oxide boundary arranged between the first heavily-doped region and the gate, and a second high-low-voltage gate oxide boundary arranged between the second heavily-doped region and the gate. The gate covers the first high-low-voltage gate oxide boundary and the second high-low-voltage gate oxide boundary at the first side and the second side of the gate, respectively.

摘要: Wastewater containing selenium in a soluble form is treated in a bioreactor. Microorganisms in the reactor reduce the selenium to elemental selenium, which is insoluble. The elemental selenium is discharged from the reactor in waste sludge. The waste sludge is thickened and then treated with a cell lysis reagent to break down or dissolve micro-organism cells in the sludge. After lysis, the sludge is treated to physically separate out the remaining solids, which includes elemental selenium, for reuse.

摘要: There is provided a process management support system and the like which supports searching continuously a business process appropriate to a change of the external environments. The system defines an action of a CLIENT 103 as a mode of progress of client operations (COPs), and correlates each COP to each SERVICE 104 of a service provider 101. In a simulation, the COP to be executed is specified based on the defined mode of progress of COPs, and a request for the SERVICE 104 is made occur from the specified COP under a predetermined condition. Then, each time the request occurs, the SERVICE 104 correlated to the specified COP is provided to the CLIENT 103 from which the request occurred.
